Youβre spoiling bro
RamS
Bro, you just called him by hus name. Theyβre not supposed to know that

Notice how Blackbeard ans Luffy are very alike and yet they are completely different, their last shot when Luffy and Teach are going in the oposite directions hinting that they are very similar but moving in different directions. Also that drink and pies tasted for them the opposite. Oda cooked good here. And iconic scene which is impactful the more you watches One piece "People dreams.. have no end"

The town they are in is called Mock Town, which is why there is such a big theme of mocking the pirates who have grand dreams.

In my opinion you're good until you hit the 180s, but if you want to know absolutely nothing, doing what you're doing is working.

Love that! βββββ€οΈβ€οΈ

Thats what amazing with Anime, its for all ages, so many diff genres and stories for everyone. Im 31 also and Anime is part of my childhood.
Regie Khemvisay
Yep, just let them make theories and keep our side eyes and evil laughs to ourselves for now lol
Dylan Drozeski
It's ok to read the title cards most times! They do randomly spoil the episode, but I can try to let y'all know when a spoiler is coming up like I did for 130
Jason DeVan
RIGHT? :))
romaiiiii
I do have to say, I hope commentors on Patreon are careful about making corrections about certain assumptions since they can be huge spoilers.

Man, in that post discussion there is so much I want to say, but I can't... I will just say it to my computer monitor! π€£ Although the bar "fight" got my blood boiling again rewatching it... man Oda's writing is good.

Fan theories are the best part of OP. Oda answers some as the Arcs go by and some have yet to be answered.

If you got only a heart β€οΈ from us and not a comment, that means you were one of the first to comment while we were filming! So before we got started we took some time to read/discuss your comments and shout you out!! So be sure to not miss beginning of eps. 150/151

Jaya is pronounced J-eye-a, and the town they were in was called Mock Town, in which they got mocked :D I love this little arc here. It contains a lot of powerful moments. Also the discussion you guys had at the end was very amusing π€£ I'm glad you guys are just throwing theories out there and having fun. Especially as the mysteries deepen, you'll have a lot of fun trying to figure things out.

I hope Luffy knocks his teeth out. Great reaction.
EgregiousGrievous
Yay, got the shout out! Yes, Luffy learned from Shanks, some folks just aren't worth fighting! The OP and ED do spoil you sometimes. Another recommendation is its not Anime but you should react to the TV show The Expanse if you like semi-realistic scifi.

Not gonna spoil anything but I remember when I first time watched Luffy and Zoro saying "Not he" and "They" after the dream talk sounded very confusing to me, but now when I rewatch it, Nami saying "Do you mean there're others with him" gave me a lot of suggestions that this could be another Goda's foreshadowing. Based on the context that the guy (not gonna spoil who he is) acted in the bar like "Oh today's drinks taste exceptionally bad" but soon after his dream talk to Luffy, he walked away and said "The drinks sure taste good today!", I am assuming it could mean the guy could have two or more personalities, it might be a foreshadow Oda still hasn't uncovered yet. I might be wrong.

Yeah its funny the current opening which started before Alabasta shows Nico Robin/Miss All Sunday on the Strawhat's ship, which is a big spoiler that she will be on the ship after the arc. Certain openings do this because in Japan, they assume most people watching, are reading the Manga beforehand, and are trying to hype those people up to keep watching.
theshittycook
Agreed to not read youtube comments. Some people LOVES to ruin others fun, especially certain BIG BIG spoiler.
Fold
Thats why you can't watch the opening until after you've the ark it is relevant to. The openings show a lot that spoil it for you.
theshittycook
Opening and the title card are the big spoiler. So the viewers always remind the live reactors not to react to the opening song and the title card. Ridiculously, it sometimes even spoils the manga reader too LMAO. What I get in the lesson in that scene is, that when you aim high, there are a lot of haters, or somebodies that are not even relevant to your life, come to mock you on the way, about what you do, what your dream. When you aim high, your focus should not be on how they react to your dream, or your lifestyle to get to the goal, not even bother to respond to them. That is not the obstacle to block your goal. Don't lose your sight wasting energy focusing on those pests/haters. "Some fights aren't worth fighting for" is what it means.
Regie Khemvisay
Heather did kept mentioning Ms All Sundays ahahah, i did notice that. You guys are funny, ahahha. I hate it when my husband be wikipediang things when we watch an anime together, coz he be like, "i know whats gonna happen, u want me to tell you?" NO! ππ€£ Its so fun watching reactions coz the theories are wild and interesting. Everyone who's rewatching with you guys just be having evil laughs and side eyes right now. So fun! Also Heather's reaction to the titlecard in the beginning was π€£π

A lesson in restraint, something that isn't paid attention to anymore. The ability to know when to advance and retreat, when a fight is worth fighting, or when to take the hits. Because to fight and win would leave you in a worse state than if you just took the loss.

I have so many spoilers want to comment but I will bear with it hhhhh Anyway I really like that moment when Luffy decided not to fight and that People's dream has no end line. Classic OP line
Kenji
also forgot to mention remember the scene luffy said to nami that guy is not a HE but probably THEY! i dont wanna spoil but just dont forget this scene
Kenji
ayee thanks jason for lettin us know that heather spoiled herself on robin LMFAO well jokes aside, if yall get spoiled on something you can let us know one piece has over 1000 episodes and chapters almost impossible not to get spoiled on anything, but i recommend to not read comments on youtube or just the most popular ones as jason said, idk if yall have mods there to take care of the comment section which i recommend. btw yesterday i asked if yall gonna react to openings and endings but only for those where you past the spoilers, as u saw heather spoiled herself with the robin stuff being part of the crew already, the anime doesnt care much cuz most one piece fans in japan read the manga its like the newspaper there. therefor in most openings there are spoilers usually animewatchers wait til the end of an arc/saga and then watch the opening/endings. but regardless awesome discussion at the end! also funny thing heather read the title wrong in last episode which is why you got confused jason it wasnt whitebeard gonna protect the strawhats or something it just said dont touch the whitebeard pirates! which means buggy tellin everyone to leave ace alone cuz whitebeard is the strongest man alive! also a tip from me: i recommend to focus more on your hearing instead of just reading (if it helps close your eyes) that way its easier to tell how to pronounce names, its jaya like ja: ju-st and ya in like ya-rd.

Every theory you have will be answered eventually. There are some things we all still don't know because we still waiting for those answers too! lol If it makes you feel better. I'm 31, and Naruto finished a year or so after I graduated Highschool. I always find it funny there is this perception that anime is for younger audience only since it's animation, but most of the lessons you don't really understand until you are older. I didn't really cry that much to One Piece years ago, but now as a grown adult, it gets me emotional.
Super Novice
Such an important lesson for Luffy and Zoro, like shanks when the mountain bandits spilled drink on him. The fight isnβt worth fighting. Bellamy and those guys are so beneath Luffy and his dreams they arenβt worth it. But the time will come for revenge ;P Also another mysterious person, the pie manβ¦. Hmmmmmm weβll see ;)
