Yeah, we definitely figuring things out watching the anime! And the flashback seen of Kuro and Jango I think we figured it out! But, yes the live action was definitely a little harder to figure out if a character ate a devil fruit or not. Especially coming into it not knowing anything 😆

Curious to know if it was more obvious here in the anime that Kuro didn't eat a devil fruit? I feel like in the live action it's a little harder to tell. Same with Shanks in Luffy's flashback, since he's in the water in the manga/anime we know it's not a devil fruit but in the live action he's in the boat so it's a little more ambiguous

Those people who get mad at you guys looking at the anime and live action are missing the point of the live action. The only reason we even get to enjoy this anime experience with you guys is because you loved the live action so much and wanted to see where the live action got it's inspiration from. That to me is the coolest thing and the whole reason the live action even exists, to bring One Piece to an audience that might not have given it a try! Thanks for another awesome reaction and keep being awesome!!

Also, please don't stop at eposide 47 to where the LA ended, the Alabasta Arc that's season two of the LA is adapting is so good. I think its the best Arc IMO. There are so many twist and turns and new characters getting introduced, it awesome and I think you guys would love it too.

The two brothers were the cook and maid in the live action, the brother with the green hair who was the genderswapped maid both threw Zoro's sword away, so very similar scene between the LA and anime.

Also, since Morgan's jaw was shattered by Captain Kuro revealed in this flashback, we see Captain Morgan's jaw was fixed with a metal jaw in Zoro's episode (or live action).

You make my day again!! Jason's tank top is so cool, and Heather's top is so pretty too! There are some details I would like to supplement in this episode, don't know if you have noticed (sorry for being nosy and don't mean to offend). The marine soldier who was all beaten, kept alive and clashed with his jaw by Captain Kuro, was Captain Morgan in Zoro's episode. He was hypnotized by Jango that he caught Captain Kuro. That's why he was promoted to Captain in a Marine base (implied). And that's why in live action Captain Morgan always emphasised he alone caught the pirate Captain Kuro and his son was so "sure" Usopp was lying Captain Kuro was alive.

Great reaction! Here's a spoiler-free fun fact: If you go back & look, you'll see that the marine that Kuro left alive and hyptnotized is actually Captain Morgan! He was just a nameless marine who acheived the rank of captain by capturing Captain Kuro, who we now know was actually a fake. You even see the real Kuro break his jaw, which is why he now wears a metal one. Even in the live action he brags about being the one who captured Kuro & even keeps a copy of his wanted poster in the safe that held the map of the Grand Line, really showcasing how highly he thinks of himself when we he really didn't do anything at all 🤣
