40:11 about the sea water, Oda gave more details in an SBS: ANY type of water would weaken a devil fruit user as long as it's stagnant (except for the sea of course) and covers a big part of their body. Although it's a bit more complex than that. Anyways, you'll understand as you progress in the story and learn about more devil fruits

Regarding the "chest" comment from Sanji and what he got mad at Zoro for, it might have been a Japanese language thing where Zoro's words sounded like he said that and the translators did the subtitles the best they could lol. Zoro didn't say that but it's what Sanji heard, so that's what he got mad about

Yeah I think the hat just represents the bonds between owners of the hat and the story of adventure of the current and previous owners of the hat as each have their own unique story and adventures but we really only know of luffy's story with his journeys with the hat.

I don't think the OP is the hat, I think it has something to do with freeing the world from oppression from the rulers of the OP world. The OP world story takes place over thousands of years so there is a hidden history of the world that barley been scratched even after 26 years. The hat is important as in who has the hat like luffy and shanks and who even had the hat before shanks but the OP is much more important IMO. The real OP is still so much a mystery to it and Oda has never revealed even a hint about it so everything you hear is pure fan speculation. Oda did say the OP is a real thing, what, noone knows even now.

There's a hundred theories about what the one piece "really is". However, Oda specifically said somewhat recently that the One Piece is not "the friends you made along the way", or "the journey itself", or something like that. That's about all the clues we get aside from the story itself.

I mentioned 35-37 would be good to have for a 3 episode reaction. Mainly because it's the full backstory for Nami. You could probably switch between 2 and 3 episodes going forward depending on how you are feeling. It's just really hard to stop watching between 35-37 haha. The One Piece could be many things and there are lots of fan theories, but Oda confirmed it's a real treasure that has to be found.
