This is in my opinion one of the best arcs in all of One Piece. The writing Oda does here is phenomenal. Get ready for some tears guys and extremely high stakes. Admiral Aokiji is definitely someone you shouldn’t mess with. As you saw. lol I know you’re farther ahead and hope you really enjoy this arc. :) also, there is definitely a tonal shift entering some much more mature themes now. Love the change in art style too. So much smoother and pleasant of the eyes. The animators do phenomenal work here.

By the way, you guys should watch "Jujutsu Kaisen," winner of Best Anime of 2024. It didn’t win this prize for nothing. The concepts in the story are really cool, and the storytelling is very unique. It’s super fast-paced and short.

Finally you have almost arrived at Water 7!! Heather, you are right, you saw it in the breathtaking world of One Piece video. Architecturally speaking, it’s one of the most fascinating cities/islands, and it’s inspired by the city of Venice (Italy). Plenty of foreshadowing in the last episode. Aokiji already realising how powerful our crew will become; the mentioning of Garp (Luffy’s grandpa); Robin’s mysterious past, and the character’ development of another member of our crew. You’ll see…and please always take your time to enjoy it… it’s an adventure :-) P.S: frogs legs are actually delicious. They don’t look good but they are. We eat them as a normal dish in my country (southern Europe).

btw since i broke down aokijis name for ya here is nami she is a navigator and studied geography and weather science ->TSU-NAMI! u get it?^^ nami means wave and tsunami a huge ocean wave caused by an earthquake. now to usopp: uso means lie and usopp lies a lot... especially to the innocent chopper who believes everything he says! he is also based on pinocchio and the other part of his name refers to aesops fables. there was a greek in ancient times who told lots of stories/fables and got famous. btw i think its been two lies that usopo told kaya that actually came true now! he told her the story of a giant goldfish that he saw well that later on happend in little garden he also told her about a giant mole he fought a giant mole (miss merry xmas), well well...

btw jason i think u talked to soon and therefor misunderstood what heather meant to say at least thats what i assume she meant: NANI!? ive never seen the strawhats in such a stressful situation 😰! they are all panicking and disorganized, they dont know what to do and just desperately try to fix things! usopp is so stressed that he puts chopper under pressure without realizing... characters fighting over what decision to make or that the decision making was wrong and start to dispute zoro shouting to stop them and focus on themselves first as it was their captains order to rescue robin and escape. also we have seen another side of zoro: realizing how the stress got to usopp and therefor he told him he should rest and go to sleep cuz all the stress exhausted him

aokiji is like two words btw ao (blue) and kiji (phesant) so aokiji means the blue pheasant, there is more to his name but i cant say more for now 😮‍💨

One of the many reasons I super enjoy watching yalls reactions is how you both make predictions without the show and yall at times have been so right not knowing how big that prediction was and there are times you each are wrong and it's funny.
