The general level of voice actors in ENG it's not so high for my experience compared to other country. I don't know how many other you experienced, but there are better imo. And so yes, even if they are considered good from English/American audience, doesn't mean that they are good for everyone that live outside this places. So, I'm glad for you that you have the occasion to know them, but I prefer others.

No it isn’t overrated 👌 the shows reputation and accolades speak volumes for the quality of the Dub…the main cast went on to have very healthy English dubbing careers. I even got to meet Steve Blum and his wife who is also a prolific English voice actor I got them to sign my bluray, Blum spoke about a lot of things, one of the things he mentioned is he’s working towards buying a secluded island property

The English dub is overrated as usual. guys don't be upset but your voice actor isn't so good.

That's how I feel about shows in my opinion that sound better in dub including this one. Regardless sub or dub I'm here for there experience and what they enjoy not what I enjoy.

the show is really great, but for me first time hearing it in eng dub is not that great, ngl. It's taking away much of the original flair and feeling, imo. And the voice actors for the "villains" here are not that good. But if you decide to watch it in dub i will still watch it and not complaining. :)

CBBB ran from September 18, 1997 – June 18, 1998 in japan so its pretty dated but I think the anime really hold up to today's standards. Glad to see the suprise when you relaized it takes place int he future and in space LOL.

FMAB is one of the only two anime I think are legitimately better in Dub. That and the Dragon Ball series

nice :) Bebop has achieved legendary status even tho it is so short. Also if you want to farm engagement with your viewers you just have to mispronounce stuff and they WILL let you know ;)

This first episode called “Asteroid Blues” pays homage to Robert Rodriguez’s Desperado, specifically with the bar that had the shootout scene and Asamov character seems to resemble Antonio Benderas’ character from that movie.

OK 👏 OK 👏 …now this show right here is some top shelf stuff!!! I don’t even know where to start with how actually well made this show is. Directed by Schinichiro Watanabe(easily one of the greats like Mount Rushmore level) and music by THE one and only Yoko Kanno! putting a big emphasis on musical style and combining multiple genres including cyberpunk, noir and westerns. Bebop also makes multiple references to popular films like Alien and the works of Bruce Lee and John Woo. The show is mostly episodic and with many of the episodes titles having a musical theme. There’s only one season but they did do a movie simply titled Cowboy Bebop: The Movie(known in Japan as Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door), I love that movie! It has some of the best animation you’ll ever see.

I never got into Cowboy Bebop back in the day, I was always more of a Trigun fan. I do appreciate you will give all the series you have looked into at least 3 episodes before a poll, because that will give you more of an idea of which you will like best to watch first.

i disagree on watching anime in dub with reactions, you can barely hear the anime so its better to have subs so we can follow also didnt they had trouble with it with death note?

Oh wow! I was expecting JoJos but this is even better! Haha! I’m commenting this before actually watching because I’m still out at work removing snow. I’m so happy you guys are trying this out! When people talk about the best anime this one is in those talks. Can’t wait to watch this after work!

No season 2 unfortunately. Show was canceled. Maybe one day in the future. It's something that has happened to other anime for example the show Log Horizon season 1 came out in 2013 then season 2 in 2014. Season 3 came out in 2021.
