Berserk is very dark but in a good way that services the characters and story. I find dark stories are the most relevant to us in the real world.

I enjoy this show so much! I guess being a parent is the reason why it resonates more with us than with younger people... I'm always full of contrasting emotions when I see those scenes where parental struggles and advice are on screen. Makes me wonder if I did good with my boys and at the same time it makes me realise that I am enough for them as they love me and I too am a perfect 100 in their eyes. Gosh, this is hitting hard! And how cute was Anya when she finally apologized to Damien?!? Cuteness overload!
