It felt like the Luffy Vs Zoro fight during Whiskey peak. It was just so out of character and they were so easily broken.

Dude this movie is awesome it doesn't have to explain things or make too much sense because while it might not seem like it this is the first and probably only most Luffy centric movie of all of them while also barely putting him in the spotlight till the end and the reasons for the ts really makes it shine retroactively.

I haven't been able to make it because I got sick with a bad cold. Hopefully I can just relax and watch this movie with you guys. Just finished the movie, and honestly never saw it before this, and I don't know what to think.

Hi, i had a great movie night thank you!! I really like this movie, i don't know how to explain but i thinks it is the art style and the ambience. Even though I understand that it can be a bit frustrating beacuase we see all the strawhats are frustrated and mostly on the Luffy 's fight at the end is not that rewarding. As the Moral of the story goes, i think it's the fact that Baron was left alone when he lost all his crews but Luffy had other people who help him, and that even for Luffy sometime he need help because there is thing that is difficult to overcome alone.

I hated every second of the movie. I was expecting an explanation like the flower was releasing pollen that makes them turn on each other but I didn't see anything like that. But I struggled to watch it so maybe I missed it, and I didn't see any of the crew reconcile. It seemed like they tried to make it mysterious and that only made me mad. I know the scene where Luffy punched, and the screen went white like a manga page was a big discovery for anime. But apart from that I never need to see it again. I want to love the One Piece movies but these first ones just aren't very good. They get better after the recap movies, where they condense an arc into a movie. [east blue, alabasta, and skypia they skip a lot but its better animation.

Tbh, I didn't quite enjoy this movie either. My favourite OP movie is Strong World or Movie 10 if I'm not mistaken. Too early for you to watch that, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it once you are able to (after episode 380, I think). One Piece Gold is also very good and my second choice.

Recommendation since you guys were feeling iffy on the movie at the end fair assessment for now but after the finishing the next few arcs or sagas rewatch this alone with no distractions you might learn why people appreciate this one quite a bit or it's just not for you either way.

This movie is the best one from way back and such a twist also just keep in mind a thought experiment if this movie was canon how miserable the crew would be going in to the next arc water seven.
