The past episodes were so slow then u have 2 of these eps like boom bam boom…the most common or prolly the only negative thing I’ve heard abt OP is the pacing. Everything else is amazing

Best scenes of these episodes imo: Luffy telling his shadow to stick with him if he wants to become King of the Pirates, Lola' mic drop speech, the SH working as a team to defeat Oars, Lola's pirates calling on their shadows to go back to them. Heather, well done spotting Pandaman! He doesn't appear in every episode so it's really a hit and miss thing for me. I loved that they included him in the OPLA! It shows just how much the show creators know about Oda and his quirks!

I love this arc due to Brook and Moria, because in my mind they mirror each other. They are both fighting the despair of losing their crew and everything thing that mattered to them. Later I think y'all should rewatch it on your own and just watch the faces, reactions, and speech of Brook and Moria. Watching the despair, madness, and loss on their faces really changes the arc once you know what you are looking for. After all you spend most of the ark enjoying the spooky aspect, solving a mystery, feeling disgust towards characters, and then just wanting them to win. Watching Moria try to care about his ambition again but unable to move past the loss is incredible to me. After losing everything he is still trying to become the pirate king, but he is too afraid of losing everything again. This is why I love it when he told his crew "Make me the pirate king." He is trying to follow his ambition, but he is too scarred to directly act, it makes me love this arc so much. The way both Brook and Moria try to distract themselves or others from their pain and loss is a treat to watch. I don't know how most people feel about Moria, but I hope this can build a little appreciation for his character. Shi Shi Shi he still has one of my favorite voices and laughs in One Piece.

The speech and experience is why I wanted more of moria and not the bore fest and obstinate annoyance that is oars I missed a lot of his dialogue in my first watch, it's very insightful and important stuff and a great character who suffered from one of oda's few big mistakes of throwing him to the back of the closet. He could have given Luffy a strong zombie to keep that plot but it shouldn't have been a stupid giant and not overshadowed moria.
