definitely hard losing his wife, but unlike Luffy, he ddnt have Jimbei to remind him of what he has still. Poor kids, but im sure rengoku ddnt hold a grudge..but the dad definitely need to give more love and affection to his only family left

Sure was nice and I enjoyed it the first time but too simple for me. And compared to Black Flag, the Ezio Trilogy, Origins or Odyssey has no chance. 😅

Great reaction, guys! I love how they started this season by still showing homage to Rengoku, still so hard to get over his death. What Rengoku means to this show, will carry on throughout the anime. It’s hard to watch his family dynamic and not be sad about it. But I think a lot of the issues, especially with his father have to do with the pain and suffering he’s gone through. Like that saying, “hurt people, hurt people” I feel that’s how Rengoku’s father lets out his pain and sadness by taking it out on everyone else and also abuses alcohol. Is it right he does that? absolutely not. but we do get to see that he does love Rengoku and is broken over his sons death, he is broken man. But I love the fact that Tanjiro stood up for Rengoku and his brother, he really shows his love and respect for Rengoku. We also see the boys training really hard to get stronger and improve their skills. Then we get introduced to Tengen, the sound Hashira. Yes, he is a bit much lol. But he means well, I think you’ll like him more as the season goes on. The entertainment district is so great, definitely one of the best seasons. So much of what makes demon slayer great will be shown this season. These next few seasons are much shorter so you’ll be caught up real soon. I can’t wait for you guys to continue this great anime. Jason and Heather, love you guys!

I too believe that Shinjuro was harsh with his son because he didn't want him to become a demon slayer. When he was talking to Tanjiro, it seemed to me that he had a grudge with the wielders of the Sun Breathing technique. Maybe he got shamed or beaten by one? Nevertheless, he destroyed the book that described those techniques. This also made me think that maybe Tanjiro's father has not really told him the truth on who he was as obviously he knew the Sun Breathing style. So, more to look forward to in this respect. Losing his wife as well must have completely devastated him. But in the end he seemed crushed about Rengoku's death, so I'm certain he is not the monster we saw.

All the questions you have about this season will be answered as the season goes on so you guys will just have to watch the story unfold! This season is so great and will blow you away! Also sorry for the confusion when I told you guys to about the intros. I wanted you to skip the intro that was played at the ending of the episode because they play the intro song of the season at the end of episode 1. I didn’t mean skip the intro of episode one. That was probably bad wording on my part. But don’t worry because you guys didn’t miss anything important when you skipped some of the intro at the beginning of the episode. But it all worked out because you ended up skipping the intro song that was played at the end of the episode like I hoped so you guys didn’t get spoiled on anything that happens during the season. But yes the rest of the demon slayer is a straight shot from here no more skipping around lol.

Wait Heather before judge Tengen Uzui 😉. My opinion is as well that after his wife died, Renkukos father didn’t want to lose anyone else and that’s why he was that cold to his son. But in the end the scene were he cries shows he has accepted his faith as a daemon slayer

-Rengoku told the granny and grandchild “hope to see you again” and that he’d tell his father he met them, he never got the chance -demons can change their size/form (Nezuko does this when she makes herself smaller/bigger). Muzan just changed his size to the form of a child, he wasn’t “possessing” a child. You guys may have missed it, but Muzan has infiltrated this family bc the father has a company and is trying to find a “cure” to Muzan’s disease so the “child” can go out in the sunlight -we will find out why this new Hashira, Tengen Uzui, needs female corp members for this mission After the Mugen train movie came out, season 2 was released in 2 parts: -part 1, 2x1 (aka S2E1) was the prequel ep, with 2x2 through 2x7 as the mugen train movie divided into episodes -part 2, 2x8 through 2x18 as the entertainment district arc So technically this would be s2 eps 1 & 8

Oh yes Jason I also always forget the name of Assassins Creed with the twins Jacob and Evie. It’s called Syndicate but one of the worst in my opinion 😅. Anyway as usual great to see you guys. 😁
