It took me some time to revisit this, knowing it would hit me hard again. I love how Shōya’s alienation—along with his struggle to make eye contact—is reflected in the camera framing. The shots deliberately avoid showing the faces of those around him, mirroring his tendency to focus on body language instead. In some face-to-face conversations, the other person's face is intentionally cut out of the frame, leaving an empty space behind him that creates an unsettling effect for the viewer. Brilliant direction.

"No one is born into this world to be alone." -Saul They both healed each other. And we can always start to change now. We can mess up, and try again. This movie was so special and ties into "love yourself". I think the reason why Ishida didnt get to say I love you was because the ending was the beginning of his self love journey. I think all of us know that after he learned to love himself, he'll be able to love others too and the movie didnt have to show that to tell us that wil happen later.

if i recall correctly i think the movie cut half of the story to fit it for the movie. the movie only really focused on shoko and shoya but in the manga everyone is included. like the red haird guy he might seem random but in the books he was around a lot especially with shoya

You right, its been so long I thought it was a anime show but I was wrong. I must have remembed reading the manga in 2013 from start to finished. It's similar to the movie but has like 7 volumes and 64 chapter that I recalled.
