From a marines point of view, of course the pirates are the bad guys i.e the criminal. So thats why people like Garp and Coby does what they do. We have the point of view of the Straw Hats, so we see it differently. Not everyone in that world, would think the same way.

Just for some info the Marines that Luffy and Whitebeard are really strong in comparison to your average Marine. Basically anyone with a white cloak and tassels on their shoulders, is higher rank and possibly stronger then Smoker, and we know Luffy has a hard time fighting smoker.

I love Luffys big use of Conquerors Haki here. Used it just like Rayleigh, he just spoke while it happened. I'll just say speech isn't necessary to stay spoiler free.

That eerie moment right before Ace was about to get executed was A+ So we've seen Rayleigh use this same Conqueror's Haki in the auction house, but he didn't make a sound at all. This is how the admiral names sound (in my opinion): uh-kye-nuu, ow-kee-jee, kee-za-ru.

I think technically to be considered The King of the Pirates, you have to get to the end of the grand line to the last Island and only Roger and his crew have ever done that so far. Roger was captain so he became KOTP.

I'll try and give you some non-spoilers of haki based on what was already shown. We know that there are multiple types of haki. This is based off a line during luffy's fight with Boa Hancock's sisters. The line stated "Only a chosen few have mastered THAT type of haki". "That" being a keyword that there's multiple. Conquerer's haki is the only one that we for sure know of with the current context

One idea I really like about these episodes is the reason for fighting of each party; while the navy is fighting for their "honor" and crooked idea of "absolute justice" by killing this teenage boy because his exitence is an "offense", the "bad guys" are fighting to get that same boy back and are facing an army not because of honor, or meaningless titles, but just out of love. How real is that? What a way to begin the week! :)
