This movie was a hard watch for me, reminding me I should wait for my soulmate. Like Jason and Heather said, to hold on and not give up because they are out there. To be honest I kind of wanted to pause it and move on to something else, to avoid giving myself any sort of hope that wont arrive. So thank you for posting this reaction, it was a much needed watch for myself. Also, Happy Birthday to Heather! You guys completed my bday today with this reaction. And Jason cried! Whut?!! It was so amazing to cry, laugh and fall in love with this film again with you guys. This film was so special to me as I watched this a month after coming back home from Kuwait after deployment (Apr 2017, it just came out) and just being home again with the hubby. Everything abt this movie was amazing. The soundtrack, plot, characters, animation is just *chefs kiss. Fun fact, Makoto Shinkai is dubbed as the next Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away director). And Your name overtook the highest grossing anime film, beating Spirited Away. Today, it's second, because the highest grossing anime film in the world now is Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, which will be ur next watch after S1. Were eating sooo good lately with all these drops. Thanks again for this reaction. You guys made me fall in love with this movie again. HAPPY Birthday Heather! Love u both!
