Great reaction guys! This show is so fun to watch! Jinwoo is such a great character, and watching his character develop and level up is very entertaining. The second half of the season is great with so much ore to come the action and animation is top notch. I’m glad you guys are really enjoying solo leveling. Love you guys.

I like the character building in this scene too! It’s why I prefer the manhwa, cuz there’s more of this type of inner struggle for Jinwoo. As he continues to level up & grapples with how the system manipulates him, you get a better sense of the psychological impact it has. He’s also not quite as heroic, making it more apparent that he’s doing this to help his family & cuz the system pushes him that direction—entering dungeons for the experience vs being a team member. It also includes Jinwoo’s sense of humor.

Rewatching this with you guys is making Season 1 even better!! Seeing you both gasp and freak out just adds to the fun hahaha. And trust me, you’ll be making those faces a lot more often! I like the complexity of emotions he has shown in this episode. He went against everything he believed in and killed 6 men in cold blood. He knows the system is playing him somehow but he was left with no choice. It feels to me like a point of no return for his character and the implications may be deeper than we think. Love this show so much!

Wow and you guys are already half way through season 1. Season 2 ends this Saturday and then we all have to wait for season 3 together and you guys can watch it weekly when it comes out. A lot of people say season 1 was just the prologue. Season 2 is even better and season 3 is when the real plot of the story starts to come into play.
