I'm finishing this episode being mad at the priest and how he acted. First, and I can't repeat it enough for each time that I see a situation like that in shows and movies : no, kissing someone when that person just had an emotional meltdown, is still crying in front of you, it's not okay AT ALL. Our girl is in a position of weakness, opened herself like she never did before, it's clearly not the right moment to kiss her. And rejecting her during it, like you suddenly remember it's forbidden and you look at her like she's the temptation, like you're mad, it's not okay AT ALL.
It was nice to have the memory of our girl's mom's funerals in this episode. It helps to understand even more where everyone is coming from. How the mother-in-law had no face and jumped on our dad's girl since the funerals. And also how Boo replaced that maternal love. So when Boo disappeared, our girl was really left alone…

He's drunk and blaming her (since she appeared at the church), qualifying her temptation, she's crying and she opened herself for the first time to someone, so clearly no, kissing here was not a good idea. And stopping by getting mad (at her or the situation, whatever), letting someone who already felt vulnerable by leaving with anger, it's the worst feeling for the partner. So yup, she has every right to be mad.

Thank you for the reaction at the end, the vast majority of reactors are saying the opposite, "Oh that is so hot ! Nooo why did he stop? Keep kissing her !" I was beginning to think I was the weird one for being very uncomfortable watching this scene. Ok he's drunk but that's no excuse. I did have a different vibe for how he rejected her. I didn't feel like he was mad at her at all, but mad at himself and at the situation in general, like "omg I was about to ruin my life". Also she seemed angry that he stopped and wouldn't have minded if he continued... So I think it's a good thing he rejected her, even tho he shouldn't have started it at all. Bref j'ai hâte de voir ta réaction aux deux derniers épisodes, merci d'avoir choisi cette série !
