Family update #2
🕑 Added 2023-12-18 05:33:08 +0000 UTCHey lovelies thank you so much for your comments and well wishes and virtual hugs on my last post. I do still intend to film this week. To update you on the visual I came across, the video here is one of drone footage someone took of the area near my house and near my family business and it’s all underwater.
I plan on flying up there when the airport opens again and when I finish a couple jobs I have booked before Xmas. It’s just my parents that run the business and my dad is 85 and was thinking of selling before this. The clean up is going to be massive. I just hope photo albums and computers are going to be ok as well as other equipment.
I’m not really sure how to process as this is the biggest flood in the last 100 years and I don’t know how I’ll feel seeing my childhood home in ruins. I just want to keep you updated because I always feel huge guilt when I can’t keep my upload promises even though I don’t plan on missing any this week I have a feeling it may come to that when I get to fly up there.
You lovelies have always been such a source of motivation, happiness and pride because of our mature and positive community. I feel so supported by comments and your presence. And I’m so blessed and lucky to get private messages from individuals that my content has been an escape and source of positivity for you. And it means the world to me that I can be that for people. It gives me purpose and hopefully make people not feel so alone that we get to share thoughts and feelings about our interests. So when something like this happens I just want to be honest with my feelings and not feel like I’m acting in front of the camera because it feels like lying or like I can’t be myself and real.
But I’m so lucky to have you here and be apart of this community. Thank you for the hugs and thoughts. My parents and myself really need it at this time and especially more when we can have access again to the house and business and assess the damage when the flood waters finally go down hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday 🤞🏼🤞🏼

One day at a time, one step at a time. I hope your family is safe. As someone that has gone through the same thing from the Maui fires this summer, we are still trying to rebuild ourselves. It will take time, but each day will hopefully be better than yesterday. We are all safe and I hope you and yours are safe as well. We are all here to support

Don't feel guilty honestly, when you feel guilty just imagine your favourite ytber is the one saying that they may not be able to upload due to unavoidable circumstances. Would you be mad/upset at them? No of course not so don't worry 🥰 I hope everything is as good as it can be with this whole thing going on.
