Early: Male Kpop Idols VS Body Hair
🕑 Added 2024-02-11 04:06:54 +0000 UTComg I am so nervous to post this but I am less nervous to let you lovelies watch it first because it is a topic that of course is very different plus a video style that I haven't done.
Editing this was such a pain along with the research lol...I tried to find as much information as possible because as a makeup artist and someone that works with actors knowing beauty trends can be very beneficial. However this particular trend of clean underarms in kpop for male artists is one that I was shocked by when I got back into kpop because I know from being around 2nd generation that, that wasn't the case for a lot of artists at the time.
Would love to know what you think! Also please help show some love to the video as I can tell it being different from my normal content it might bomb and I hope my effort hasn't gone in vain. I am still collating all my sources so that hasn't been added to the description yet.

Hair is hair, regardless of where it is. I don’t get the fuss about it honestly. Do whatever you want. Hair doesn’t determine cleanliness but it might become annoying when they’re sweating. I don’t really know how it works lmao Netizens care way too much about things that don’t need to become a debate, body hair is one of them. Im sure some of the idols want/like being hairless but it sucks if those who don’t are basically not given a choice.

That's a great topic to have a discussion on. For me, I view armpit hair (or any body hair tbh) just like hair on one's head or eyelashes, or eyebrows etc. It's fine if they are there but it's also fine if they're not present. What I don't like is people viewing body hair as a sign of poor hygiene, being dirty or lazy. You can be all of those things with or without body hair. I want idols to be free to have as much body hair as they want, without netizens having meltdowns or heated debates over it. Great research and editing btw, If videos like this are something you'd want to continue with in the future, I'd definitely watch it.
