Version 0.6 is coming along and is planned to be released in the second half of November.
I´m currently finishing up writing the last 2 scenes while LustLord already doing the images for the others.
I´m also looking into some UI improvements to go along with the update - depending on how much time I have left before the release.

You shouldn't make assumptions about this, as it will likely always be necessary. I believe this is due to how Ren'Py functions: old save files often break because they reference variables or perform actions that require data not present in those saves. Additionally, changes in Ren'Py versions can lead to the phasing out of old code, further complicating matters.
