A quick update

So I just wanted to let you know that I need a couple more days.
I usually judge how long something would take and then plan accordingly. But development is not like that. Something always goes wrong, something always has to be redone or adjusted.
Some of you veteran guys who are here since the early days know that each and every release consisted of doing all-nighters and 18 hour workdays before, and ended up with some silly bugs that could have been prevented easily with a bit more time. These happened because of the things unaccounted for during planning.
Then after I was done and released, I wouldn't do anything for the next couple of days because I was trying to put as much distance between me and my computer as I could of course, after spending a 100 hours working in front of it that week.
So this time I have decided I'll instead I'll take those extra couple of days and not work to exhaustion. You've been waiting for quite a while and I hope this few extra days won't matter as much to you as it does to me and the development process.
I just want to make something clear. To those of you who were expecting it this month and can't pledge in December.
Everyone who has had an active pledge in the 10$ tier or above in November will get the 0.6 update in December via private message.
Hang tight for a couple more days, this will be out next week. I posted a little sneak peak of our new character during the night.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Please, please, please take your time. Too often have 100 hour crunches become the norm in game development culture. I rather see a happy, healthy developer than an early version of a game.
Too bad it wasn’t true
To be fair, he said a couple of days and it's been almost 2 weeks. I understand their frustration.

Just hope Dr.sin is doing ok. The updates were never this late, which make me a bit worry about himself.

So now will you girls stop bitching at the man.....he said it will be out...
Hearing that it's out in 48 hours is almost as erotic as the actual update

Calm down mates, I'm working on it. I want to make this a good one. Remember the 0.4 update? This is double the size, maybe even more. It's coming in less than 48 hours.
Yea don’t put out time lines if you can’t meet them.

Please refund my money! I haven’t got any updates since September.
If you don’t know how much time you need for release, don’t say things like “End of the month”, or “Couple of days” It’s annoying to have to wait for something that should’ve been released already

It has been over a week. Any more word on 0.6?

One of the big challenges to Patreon, it seems, is that many of the patrons expect you to be "always on," simply churning out content non-stop. I can't imagine enduring that amount of pressure for the long term, let alone as a solo developer or leader of a small team. If you don't have your health, then you really have nothing. I don't think any reasonable person would fault you for that. There's absolutely no reason to force yourself to "crunch." I've only been a patron since earlier this year, so I'm sure this kind of message seems like it comes out of nowhere. But I just felt it worthwhile to send you some support. :)

think most of us will agree that we'd rather you take longer and feel better than fizzle out and stress about it, just keep going :)
