Project Eden - Title Reveal & More

This is why I didn't post an update yesterday, because I wanted to show you this.
I've been calling my upcoming big game Project Eden, as a codename until the title is finalized.
Now that the title is final as you can see in the video above, we can call it Midnight Paradise.
I decided to show you this bit of teaser video because it gives you some hints about the game's vibe and atmosphere.
I feel like DoD had a distinct style at most times visually and the signature night scenes (along with the nightmares) were the ones that really stood out for me as setting the game's atmoshpere.
In Midnight Paradise I'm taking borrowing visuals and musical elements from the 80's. That said, don't expect guys with mullets, acid washed jeans and headbands.
The game's style will be a mix between modern minimalism and retro glam, taking the best of both worlds and creating a unique city filled with interesting characters and memorable locations.
I promised I'd talk about the game's features some more in these upcoming Development Updates. Let's kick it off with the day and night cycle.
As the veterans among you already know, this game will be a sandbox type game where you get to decide what to do each day.
You'll have your activities during the day, the normal activities fall into this time period - and more on these later.
However, in Midnight Paradise you don't have to spend the night in bed, as you could probably guess from it's title.
Nightlife will play a major role in the game as some activities and storylines only become available after the Sun dips below the horizon.
The night can be fun and exciting but you could also bump into individuals you'd rather not want to.
As time goes I'll talk about more and more features and elaborate on the ones you already know about.

The teaser reminds me of Miami Vice. And this could be a cool setting for a game. Hot girls, smart guys etc. But I have one question. I haven't read it yet (or maybe I was blind), what will be the game engine for this sandbox game?

Hi, I am rather new around here, I love Dreams of Desire and after playing the first 5 chapters I had to become a subscriber. Maybe you answered this question already but does this game "Midnight Paradise" have anything to do with DoD ? Direct sequel or same Universe ?
