Development Update #63 - September 10, 2018

Will Midnight Paradise have house story? I mean ladies living with you under the same roof.
There will be characters that are very similar to how DoD's characters are set up, yes. (*wink wink*) DoD focused mainly on these characters, however Midnight Paradise will have a much more diverse set of characters and a lot of them. The challenge here is to give each of them a meaningful backstory and interesting personality. After learning a lot from DoD, I'll do my best to deliver on this.
Date, previews?
Previews are starting next week. I've got some hot stuff in store for you all.
Release date is yet unknown. I wanna get it out there soon, I'm excited!
(I'm trying for an October release but with all the sh*t I'm packing into this one it's hard to say.)
What's the MILF / Teen(that are over 18, Patreon) rate?
Since our Main Character will be a bit older than in DoD the rest of the lineup will follow. As this is somewhat of a story of a guy who is entering adulthood, there will be generally more adult characters in the game than 'young adults' like in DoD, but you'll have something that fits your taste, I promise ;)
How work is progressing on MP?
Slowly but surely. I can ramp up the pace from now on since I'll be concentrating all my efforts on MP. It's a bit harder to measure a game as 'modular' as Midnight Paradise as opposed to DoD where everything was following the same sort of linear structure episode by episode (Script draft - rendering - writing and coding - release).
I'm planning for a good amount of content for the first release, meaning I don't want it to just be a mostly empty proof of concept type of deal so I'll just keep working on filling it up with stuff for you to do in the game.

Your money greed is disgusting sir. Why have a $1 option if all you get for it is update posts? That is underhanded and scummy. You have 3,275 donors. If HALF of your donors gave $10 a month, you would be making $16,370 a month. At the $1 level, I can't even download anything. The next level is $10. You do know that there are others that make the same kind of games you do, right? And people are NOT made of money? If you had a $5 level that let you download at least your old games, it would make people want to do more. But the $1 level is a cheap trick.
Hopefully there is one character or more, similar to Ms. Turner. Really the best character in DoD. And i hope as much that i and all the other game players in future will be satisfied with our desire. With the Milf factor and here body measurements. :P
