So with Midnight Paradise 0.2 release today to Elite tier, and 3 days later to everyone else, I have come to a decision based on a number of different things.
As you probably know, I've been going through some rough times lately and haven't been able to fully focus on creating the best game I possibly can for you.
About one and a half weeks ago I found my motivation again, just to be plunged back into chaos by the current state of the game.
I am dissatisfied.
There are many things that should be in place by now, and they are not. Some of it is my fault and some are the fault of my team members'.
Honestly, I feel like I'm being let down and in turn I feel like I'm letting you guys down.
And this doesn't feel right at all.
I also couldn't meet deadlines this year. I truly feel ashamed of this. If you've been following me since the start of DoD, you know I always delivered on time, even by the minute on most occasions.
Now I'm planning a smaller update content-wise in May, with all the core features that are needed for a polished game.
I feel like the 0.3 release in May will be what this release should be.
I also couldn't deliver a release in March. I really feel bad about these things and it's been eating at me for a while now.
Due to these reasons, I'm pausing my campaign for the next cycle, meaning none of the current Patrons will be charged on May 1st. Essentially it means you'll be getting the 0.3 release next month for free.
Please note though, I'm not taking a break. This isn't about that. I will still be working, harder than I've managed recently, and the 0.3 release is still coming in May.
However, I couldn't keep my promises to you lately and I feel like I don't deserve your hard-earned money until I set this straight.
You don't have to do anything with your pledges, no need to edit them, Patreon simply won't charge on the 1st and that's it.

Hey Dr. Sin, i´m a big fan even if i cant manage to pledge as much as i want to and as you deserve. If it is easier for u to develop smaller releases it is ok for me! So take ur time an don´t forget to enjoy urself from time to time... We work to live and not the other way!!! Thumbs up!
It feels like we can do some customization with our room and maybe other things. If this is easier to develop I would be content on the ability to build money in the game and purchase these things for later versions that would unlock new playable scenes

You make great work and make great games. DOD is still the best game I've ever played. I can't wait to see your new work. Keep your head up. Things will turn around for you. I can hardly wait to see how good this new project Midnight Paradise is going to be. It already looks amazing!

Thank you dr.sin i do understand how life goes and sometimes its hard to have a clear mind to go further and in that time we just neet to focus a bot on ourselfs, you did and are doing a good job so no worries.

Honestly, I don’t think you need to pause payments, but it’s a nice gesture. The past few months since December have been quite frustrating so I’m happy to hear you have your motivation back. When you say less content for 0.3 do you mean just new features wise or do you mean scene wise as well?

I am with Diego and the others Doc!! You can charge me still brother! We all have had times where RL took over or things aren't working out like they should. The time you took to give us an update and to be honest on how you feel about things, to me, shows the sincerity and quality you have to this project and what you do.

Hey man, I still want you to charge me, I myself don't pay just for the deliveries, but for the dedication you have for the game. Life's hard and we cannot always follow a plan, and I can understand that's been the case for you. The simple fact that you want to skip your pay this month just for the sake of us, makes me think you deserve it even more. So, please, in my case, charge me as usual.

Yes there is, in fact one of my favorite scenes is an extra scene for the Mad Scientist tier.
