MP Development Update #32

A quick update about progress:
I intended to release this earlier, but 'real life' (among other things) gets in the way.
Anyways, I'm going to add the things that I have planned to make this a worthy update, one I can be truly proud of. I feel like I desperately need that. I'd like to release this weekend, BUT, that depends if the animations are going to be ready in time. (The rendering - which takes from 18-26 hours for each)
And there are a lot of scenes and animations this time.
The update will feature a variety of new naughty content. From mild to rough through steamy erotic. And by the way, 2 characters are getting the D in this update, instead of the originally planned 1.
Honestly the erotic content this time took longer than I expected. Turns out animating sex scenes is hard! Well, if you're actually trying to make them look good, which I hope they will.
One more reason for the delay of 0.12 is that I've decided I needed to take some time to update my notes about the story of MP. I don't want loose ends and we're at a point where I'm going to start revealing the main story and I need to make sure everything clicks. So I've spent a lot of time with my notebook, writing and fleshing out the character's stories.
There's been a good amount of progress there, so at least that's good.
I feel bad about this delay... This has been a hard year and I'm starting to feel tired. I can't help but feel pretty bummed out about not being able to meet the monthly release goal. But I wanna end this on a positive note: I'll do my best to make 0.12 worth the wait.

As one of the "go back to monthly updates" group, it's fine. Take your time and make yourself happy, you have and will continue to be worth the wait.

Look, most of us would like to have a great product a little late, than a shit product on time. Don't worry about the deadline so much, as long as you're not going missing for months at a time.

Haha, that's okay. Well the only reasonable path would be to buy a second system, (which i've done in the past) and run both of them. But then I can't stay in the room without the AC being on permanently. These things pump out some serious heat:)

I didn't understand a single word you guys said about hardware information ...i just gave a genuine opinion about upgrading hardware...if you have already upgraded it then ..notjing left to say

I have my old setup upgraded with new GPUs. Specs: Asus ROG Rampage VI Extreme Motherboard Intel Core i9 7900X 10 Core CPU (Not much need for a stronger CPU) 64 Gigs of G.Skill TridentZ DDR4 RAM EVGA Supernova G2 1600W Power Supply 4 x RTX 2080 Ti GPUs Can't get much faster than this on a single workstation. I'm thinking about a dual PSU 4x3090 watercooled build, but that's a lot of hassle to make it work. We'll see, Daz doesn't support the 3000 series anyway. Daz doesn't support render farms properly either. There are 1-2 companies out there who do support daz rendering, but I have more powerful hardware than those guys can rent out.

Sin probably already have PC like professional Workstation (those configs about more than 10000$ per one), with approximate income from Patreon page author can save up pretty easy for that stuff. But if that not enough already, that means needed Render Farms which really pricey, there only way is rent for time to do final render... which objectively not worth it with monthly releases (that going ruin Dr. Sin's balance if it try do it lmao).

Hi dr.sin, great job ..keep it up...might i suggest that you should think about upgrading your hardware if the rendering is taking 26 hrs... upgrading might help you focus on other things about the game...

You are making a great game. Take your time. If the release isnt ready this weekend then take a bit more time. Even if you do releases bi-monthly that is still a really good schedule and worth the extra time.
So far so good with MP!!! No rush for the progress of the story or the hot content! I just totally enjoy the game! I do have a question: when we see Joyce on her laptop in her bedroom, will there be an opportunity to click on her? Otherwise, keep your head up, and keep up the good work!!! 🤘🏻
