It did work for me once but than it suddenly wasnt working anymore. I tried to delete it and to reinstall it but this didnt work also, it just closes. Would love to see a fixed version!

Thomas

Anyone get this issue. Getting requirements to build wheel ... error error: subprocess-exited-with-error × Getting requirements to build wheel did not run successfully. │ exit code: 1 ╰─> [33 lines of output] This happens after the "pip install ." if doing manually but it also happens during the auto.bat file. Also, get this error. register_finder(pkgutil.ImpImporter, find_on_path) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ AttributeError: module 'pkgutil' has no attribute 'ImpImporter'. Did you mean: 'zipimporter'? [end of output] note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip.

Homando

Didn't work with auto installer unfortunately, like most of my experience with these installers. Fortunately only really had to change the setup.py to install: vector-quantize-pytorch==1.14.8 instead. Also just ended up doing it manually, as it was easier to debug and fix in my opinion Keeps telling me 'No module named 'flash_attn', but it just disables, and works without it, so I dont mind

dead hell

Hello im Having a issue ive successfully installed the program but once its done installing it closes the cmd window and when I tried to run it via the laucher bat file inside the stable audio tools it just shuts down and I also disabled the firewall

Biktor

Hi, I use "--model-half" to use model weights to half precission, put (whithout quotes) at the end of LAUNCHER - STABLE-AUDIO.bat It goes so fast now. You can lay with the steps close to 30-50 to take an idea of what are you getting

Aitrepreneur

just separate the audio in multiple audio files in audacity or something similar

r2a9n3d1o4m

I recently tried the second step with a very long mp3 file (like 5 or 6 hours) and I got raised an error saying the file is too big. I understand that what I'm trying to do will not work as the tool is just not made for that but I was interested if there was a tool that takes in longer audio files and trains longer in order to get a better quality tts voice model as i haven't been able to find one that worked for me yet.

Afenix

Thanks, was able to make this work.

UrbanWhales

Thank you! You are the best and it worked.

Aitrepreneur

This is probably a bad initial python install, you need to uninstall your current python installation and reinstall it correctly. Go to the add and remove programs, search for python and uninstall both the current python version and the python install program. Once this is done, go here and download this installer: https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.10.11/python-3.10.11-amd64.exe Run it and check the “Add python 3.10 to Path” checkbox and continue with the installation. You can check that the right python version is installed by opening a new command prompt window and typing: python --version and it should give you the 3.10.11 version Then just relaunch the 1-click installer in a new folder and try again.

Erowolf-kun

ah dang, well i actually tried it on runpod as i awaited a response but its also molases slow....is that just how it is? or is there a GPU recommended for faster processing of the prompt? that i can choose from runpod.

Aitrepreneur

Yes, pretty much no AI tools are compatible with AMD gpu unfortunately. You should try using runpod instead

Erowolf-kun

heya, everything installed fine but making an audio out of a prompt takes a paindfully massive amount of time. I have a AMD RX 79000, not sure if that matters at current.

Aitrepreneur

Hmm, interesting...it be could a multitude of reasons, first open a command prompt window and drag and drop the installer file inside the window, then press enter, this should avoid the window from closing and it will at least give us an error code we can use to troubleshoot the error, make also sure that you have disabled any antivirus/firewall from running and blocking the file/connection

Witch Braixen

I think I broke something while trying to install Stable Audio. I originally tried to do it manually, but stopped when it got to the point where I was required to give Huggingface my full real name. Which I am not willing to do. Then I tried to use the Automatic Installer in a separate folder and the command prompt window just closes after a certain point. There is no error message, it just closes and doesn't work. I tried deleting all instances of the stable-audio-tools folder to start again. And uninstalling python and installing the version recommended here (v3.10.11) and nothing seems to work. --- It always closes shortly after the cmd prompt says something along the lines of; ========== [notice] A new release of pip is available: 23.0.1 -> 24.2 [notice] To update, run: python.exe -m pip install --upgrade pip Processing c:\___\applications\ai software\sd audio\1c\stable-audio-tools ==========

Sébastien Chapelier

I just unistall my antivirus... and its working now. Thank you.

Aitrepreneur

any errors during install? Have you correctly put the launcher inside the right folder?

Sébastien Chapelier

Hello. I have an error message when launching the launcher related to env\Scripts\activate'env\Scripts\activate' n’est pas reconnu en tant que commande interne ou externe, un programme exécutable ou un fichier de commandes.

Renaldo Fransisco Valentino

Work perfectly! Just my GPU sucks (2080 MaxQ 8GB) 😔

MyBrotherInChrist

If there is a cmd prompt window, can you say what it says when you click "generate"?

Raz Toermentor

No errors and it literally doesn't generate anything it just starts the clock and never does anything.

Aitrepreneur

any error during install, how long does it take to generate?

Raz Toermentor

Hey. I wanted to use stable-audio locally. I was able to install it and I got RTX 3060 12gb, but when I try to generate anything it just takes forever and nothing comes out, but also I noticed that my GPU is not being engaged at all. You know how to fix it?

Aitrepreneur

sure probably you got the wrong version of python installed. You need the python 3.10.11. First, you need to uninstall your current python installation and reinstall it correctly.

ADuckProbably

Hi, I've been trying to install it, but I keep getting this error: INFO: pip is looking at multiple versions of stable-audio-tools to determine which version is compatible with other requirements. This could take a while. ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement pedalboard==0.7.4 (from stable-audio-tools) (from versions: 0.8.2, 0.8.3, 0.8.4, 0.8.5, 0.8.6, 0.8.7, 0.8.8, 0.8.9, 0.9.0, 0.9.1, 0.9.2, 0.9.3, 0.9.4, 0.9.5, 0.9.6, 0.9.7, 0.9.8) ERROR: No matching distribution found for pedalboard==0.7.4 It shouldn't be related to the one click installer, since I get the same error attempting to do it manual, do you have an idea how to fix it?

Juarez

working, ty

Juarez

Cool! Thanks, I'll try again.

Aitrepreneur

Indeed thanks for the heads up! They recently just modified their repo, I updated the runpod installer, dl it again and try it out, now it works again :)

Juarez

At the end of the installation, only the local url appears, no public URL link, so I entered it manually, and it still didn't work. appears: "no interface is running right now"

Aitrepreneur

you might yes, it will take much longer to run though

Aitrepreneur

because you need to click on the public url, not the local one

Ai Advocate

I have 8gb vram. If i turn off EVERYTHING else to run this. Would it work?

Juarez

hello, when I finish installing on runpod I only get a link and it is different from the link you use> Running on local URL: http://127.0.0.1:7862 When I click it says I can't access this site I also tried to access it by creating (https://oyglmplimqf2f7.gradio.live/) a link with the ID of the pod I'm using and it appears: no interface is running right now what am I doing wrong? no errors appear in the terminal and almost everything I checked is in accordance with what appears during the end of its installation on your video as well. (I'm not native to the language, sorry)

Aitrepreneur

wow...that was a lot of error there....which weren't supposed to happen, so there might have been an issue during the install process but hey you managed to fix it yourself so well done! :o Have fun now :D

Jens Huebner

I did that. It fixed it, thanks. Then I got this error messages: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named aeiou and after I installed aeiou ModuleNotFoundError: No module named k-diffusion so I installed that too. Next error message was File "E:\Python310\lib\site-packages\k_diffusion\evaluation.py", line 6, in import clip File "E:\Python310\lib\site-packages\clip\__init__.py", line 1, in from .clip import * File "E:\Python310\lib\site-packages\clip\clip.py", line 6, in from pkg_resources import packaging ImportError: cannot import name 'packaging' from 'pkg_resources' (E:\Python310\lib\site-packages\pkg_resources\__init__.py) therefore I installed setuptools 69.5.1 instead of 70.1 which fixed that error, Then I had to install dac (ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'dac') Then I got the same error with 'dac.nn' I found some info that dac is 'descript-audio-codec', so I did pip install descript-audio-codec which did the trick, after that: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'einops_exts' after that: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'x_transformers', after that: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'alias_free_torch', after that: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'vector_quantize_pytorch' after that ... it works, but not really. Creating a sound took ages. Error message that cuda was not linked correctly. So I uninstalled and reinstalled torch and now ... Everything is working finally. So thank you for this amazing piece of software. You da man! I didn't have any idea this existed until you brought it to my attention.

Aitrepreneur

try this: go inside the main folder, click on the folder path, type “cmd” press enter, this will bring the command prompt window and inside you’re gonna type: env\Scripts\activate press enter pip install gradio press enter then relaunch the LAUNCHER - STABLE-AUDIO.bat file

Jens Huebner

This is strange. I have installed everything and it worked like a charm when I checked it out directly after installation and I even produced some sounds. But after I closed the install.bat I cannot get it to work anymore. When I click the launcher.bat, I get this message: Traceback (most recent call last): File "E:\stable-audio-tools\run_gradio.py", line 2, in from stable_audio_tools.interface.gradio import create_ui File "E:\stable-audio-tools\stable_audio_tools\interface\gradio.py", line 5, in import gradio as gr ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'gradio' I did what you suggested, reinstalled the latest python from the link you provided and also made sure the 'add python to path' box was checked, but still the same. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Aitrepreneur

should work fine yes, the less vram the slower it is

Danilo Ramscheid

i running it on a 4060 mobile and its working, it have only 8gb of vram, any problem i can face with my 4060?? or it just make it slower??

Adam Zerbe

Couldn't get the file, but a quick search revealed server_name and server_port configs for gradio. I was able to patch that in and adjust the launcher appropriately. Thanks!

Zero Two

I read your previous responses, deleted my Python, and then installed the correct version. It worked after I deleted my previous attempt and tried again. Thanks for answering and for your work!

Aitrepreneur

what's the python version you got? did the install was done correctly? Any error during install?

Aitrepreneur

yeah then just a connection issue, retry again in a new pod

Zero Two

Did everthing but I get an error message: python run_gradio.py --ckpt-path ".\ckpt\model.safetensors" --model-config ".\ckpt\model_config.json" Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\AI\NEW\Audio\Neuer Ordner\stable-audio-tools\run_gradio.py", line 1, in from stable_audio_tools import get_pretrained_model File "C:\AI\NEW\Audio\Neuer Ordner\stable-audio-tools\stable_audio_tools\__init__.py", line 2, in from .models.pretrained import get_pretrained_model File "C:\AI\NEW\Audio\Neuer Ordner\stable-audio-tools\stable_audio_tools\models\pretrained.py", line 4, in from .utils import load_ckpt_state_dict File "C:\AI\NEW\Audio\Neuer Ordner\stable-audio-tools\stable_audio_tools\models\utils.py", line 2, in from safetensors.torch import load_file ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'safetensors'

Aitrepreneur

it might be, do not forget that they have multiple models, stable audio open is just the open source model currently available but online they have stable audio 2.0 already

Aitrepreneur

responded in the other comment, dm me

Tomas Rampas

Thank you for the reply. I was checking their documentation at https://stableaudio.com/user-guide/audio-to-audio and it gave me an impression that the input audio is actually very poverful. A guy is humming a basic song and transforms it into a perfect guitar play. But maybe it is a different feature? Or it works only on the online tools?

Euchale

Its this one here, so I am not alone. https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui/issues/15175 Since its now also happening with Stable audio, I would guess its either gradio or something with Torch/CUDA

Joseph Christensen

need help. one click installer doesn't do anything

Kristopher Dean

I got that message whilst installing it on runpod if that helps.

Tbatz

https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.10.11/python-3.10.11-amd64.exe downloaded from here, install to PATH clicked. Uninstalled everything python from add/remove programs before installing. Does Miniconda installs effect this at all? I didn't uninstall those. I'll mess around with my drivers and try to find if something off.

Aitrepreneur

oh oh...ok...yeah that is surprising to hear then... are you sure that your python install is correct? what's the python version you got? Do you have multiple version running? Is it added to path correctly as well?

Tbatz

Windows 11, 4090, 5900x, 32gb ddr4 ram, x570 Meg Ace Motherboard. Good on keeping up to date with new drivers (and cleaning out old ones)

Aitrepreneur

Hmmm...weird indeed, are you running the latest nvidia drivers? I can't really speak for others so I'm not sure if that speed is normal for your gpu either, and since the generation is fast that means the everything is working as intended I suppose...

Aitrepreneur

so the init audio is basically not super useful tbh, it's not what you think it is, it only pushes the generation to generate something very vagely similar to the init sample audio but to make it even remotely work you need to add the sample and increase the noise value otherwise it will just generate the exact same audio sample. Tbh it's not suuuuuper useful and it's hard to control, hence why I didn't show it in the video

Aitrepreneur

looks like a connection error or bug, try again in a new folder. Make sure you don't run any VPN and your connection is stable

Aitrepreneur

ok...well looks like it's a PC issue here, what are your PC specs? OS, GPU, etc...

Euchale

3080ti 12GB vram, I do have similar problems with SDXL in A1111, but not when I use comfyui. Think it might be related to gradio as weird as it sounds.

Tomas Rampas

Pls how do I use the "init audio" option? I can't get it to work. And I did check the "use init audio". Please is there a documentation how to set it up? What value is the best for "Init voice level"? Thank you.

Kristopher Dean

I've followed your instructions for a fresh install of Python, but this, TTS and Tooncrafter auto installers give the same errors: This app can't run on your PC To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher. Then in a CMD window it says [INFO] Winget is already installed. Then it tries to install python for 5 seconds and closes. If it means anything, my stable diffusion/LLM models all work perfectly.

Aitrepreneur

Again, it's a bad initial python install, you need to uninstall your current python installation and reinstall it correctly.

Aitrepreneur

Then I'm almost certain it's a bad initial python install, 99% of these issues is just that, you need to uninstall your current python installation and reinstall it correctly. Aitrepreneur

use the launcher I provided, that's what it's here for

Aitrepreneur

You can, you can dl this run gradio.py file: https://we.tl/t-A7LpXqQT8x and replace the one you have. Then you need to edit the launcher file and add the --port argument, followed by the port number so that on line 3 you have something like this: python run_gradio.py --ckpt-path ".\ckpt\model.safetensors" --model-config ".\ckpt\model_config.json" --port 420

Aitrepreneur

what's your GPU?

Aitrepreneur

haven't tried it since I don't have any AMD but most Ai tools only work with Nvidia since you need cuda cores

DaCrunch

I've installed it and everything works well with my CPU, though it takes some time to generate. I've tried to use the GPU version to get faster results and even though it launches, it would not generate completely and it gets stuck even when its at 100% and everything becomes laggy. Any way to fix this? I have a 3070ti.

Bob Doyle - VR Films

Normally your installers work great for me, but neither the Stable Audio or Tooncaster worked. When I run the launcher files a quick CMD window pops up too fast to read anything and it just shuts down. In both cases, after a few attempts, running the launch .bat file actually deleted the one click auto install file. I've rebooted, started from scratch, but it just keeps failing.

Thanks for another great installer, worked without issue. Couple of questions. Is there a way to alter the port it launches on, and can it be made a local share instead of a gradio live public link? Most of the time I run these on my main rig, but access them from another local machine.

Euchale

Any ideas on how I can speed up the decoding step? Generation takes only a few seconds, I run at 7.5 it/s, but decoding after gen took me almost 4 minutes.

Devawake

I actually fixed this by deleting pytorch and reinstalling it manually in the env!

BopDobop

Is this even usable on RX 7900 XT? Install went OK, but each 5 sec audio generation takes ages up to the point of being unusable time hog...

Aitrepreneur

type this in the command prompt: nvcc --version should give use the cuda version installed if it's installed correctly. If it is then try reinstalling it again in a new folder, and check the install for errors, happened to me once with another Ai tool before, for some reason it couldn't find cuda installed, simply reinstalling in a new folder did the trick so was probably a bug

Aitrepreneur

Yup, actually ALL AI tools works with 3.10 python

Chris Johnston

I got it working, anyone got any tips for prompting it to generate a higher quality?

Tony Chamberlain

Ok I see you recommend uninstalling and installing https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.10.11/python-3.10.11-amd64.exe For Python 3.10.11 Doing so fixed the issue are all your scripts based on this python version?

Cheese Plant

Hey - just wanted to say thanks very much for this, and also all the work you've been doing recently. It's really phenomenal work and so helpful. In regards to training for Stable Audio, I also would definitely be interested in learning how to do that. Thanks!

Devawake

Yeah I'm running 3.10.11, had to actually completely reinstall it and delete all of my local libraries to even get the installer to work in the first place.

Sibanamush

Downgrade to 3.10.11 did the trick, many thanks! :D

Aitrepreneur

do you have python correctly installed and added to path? ANd if you do what version of python you got? You can check that the right python version is installed by opening a new command prompt window and typing: python --version You need the python 3.10 version.

Aitrepreneur

Yup knew it was a python version issue, you need the python 3.10.11. First, you need to uninstall your current python installation and reinstall it correctly.

Aitrepreneur

probably because you have run the installer as admin and it installed it inside the system32 folder, run the installer normally

Aitrepreneur

do you have python correctly installed and added to path? ANd if you do what version of python you got? You can check that the right python version is installed by opening a new command prompt window and typing: python --version If you can also give me the full error log that would be best as well

Aitrepreneur

That means you're a man of culture like all of us here :D

Devawake

Its booted but when generated im being told CUDA is unavailable and it's stupidly slow, i have cuda toolkit installed and i have a 4070ti

Just curious do you have onedrive enabled? If so try C:\Users\yourusername\OneDrive\Desktop

I'm getting an error either running the one click installer bat or trying to do do it manually. Error is " ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement pedalboard==0.7.4 (from stable-audio-tools) (from versions: 0.8.2, 0.8.3, 0.8.4, 0.8.5, 0.8.6, 0.8.7, 0.8.8, 0.8.9, 0.9.0, 0.9.1, 0.9.2, 0.9.3, 0.9.4, 0.9.5, 0.9.6) ERROR: No matching distribution found for pedalboard==0.7.4 " seems like the setup.py is running until it gets to " 'pedalboard==0.7.4', " , then stopping because it cant find that version of pedalboard, or won't install it. ( tried manually doing "pip install pedalboard==0.7.4" with the same result ) Seems to mean that once the installer stops partway through setup.py , that it isnt loading the rest of them, I /think/ thats why when the bat file tries to launch the program its giving this error: "Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\AI_Generation\Stable-Audio-Tools\stable-audio-tools\run_gradio.py", line 1, in from stable_audio_tools import get_pretrained_model File "C:\AI_Generation\Stable-Audio-Tools\stable-audio-tools\stable_audio_tools\__init__.py", line 2, in from .models.pretrained import get_pretrained_model File "C:\AI_Generation\Stable-Audio-Tools\stable-audio-tools\stable_audio_tools\models\pretrained.py", line 4, in from .utils import load_ckpt_state_dict File "C:\AI_Generation\Stable-Audio-Tools\stable-audio-tools\stable_audio_tools\models\utils.py", line 2, in from safetensors.torch import load_file ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'safetensors' PS C:\AI_Generation\Stable-Audio-Tools> pip install pedalboard==0.7.4" would appreciate any insight/suggestions * update with more info * tried to grab the .whl of pedalboard0.7.4 , but get a "is not a supported wheel on this platform." error. I'm on Python version 3.12.4

Not sure what it says about me that I had to test the fart sound. I should ask AI, lol
