GUI Update
🕑 Added 2015-09-07 14:49:45 +0000 UTCIf you hadn't noticed we recently passed the milestone to get a GUI designer! Thank you so much for all your support, this is an important part of any visual novel so we're glad we'll be able to address it.
So, we'd like to announce that the newest member of our team is Toki! He has some past experience with Python and GUI design, so we're glad to have him aboard.
He's already drawn up some ideas for what the new UI might look like. Here, we've got a clean, sterile look. The idea here is to minimize distraction and reflect the emptiness of Echo.
What do you guys think? Do you like the minimalist approach, or would you prefer something more stylistic?

Ooooh looks fancy!! I like the overall GUI interface change. It makes it more clean. However, maybe keep to the theme colors or style? It seems somewhat futuristic per se and slightly out of place.

Yo, it looks like cutting edge. Like for some reason it looks like... it'd be in a futuristic scifi type game instead. Not bad, though. Good simple-style look for menus. I notice it now specifies that Chase is talking, whereas I think before it would default as Chase speaking. Like, it would only say the name of the person speaking if the speaking person was someone other than Chase, because he's the default speaker. Uh, I think this is good. Thanks Toki!

Congratulations once again, and welcome aboard Toki! I really like the minimalist design. The only thing I could really suggest is to maybe make the blue (menu.jpg) and red (thought.jpg) text in the menus more of a yellow-gold color, to keep up the color scheme of the title screen.
