Leo's Final Update...

Actually i think it is fair. Yes in some way Leo was trying to be protective and in a way controlling. However Chase had every chance to stop Leo from doing the things he did but chose not to. This in turn made Leo think he still had a chance to get back with Chase. And if you read the short story Phone Chase ended their relationship horribly. Which in a way probably added to Leo's state of mind

Did you even read what Leo said? Going to avoid spoilers here but I'd recommend revisiting it. Placing all the blame on Chase is entirely unfair.

Holy hell that was hard to get through. Even after everything we've been through over the past couple years, and everything turning out more or less exactly like I'd hoped, it really was like a knife in the gut. Thank you for going the extra mile and putting the care and feeling into a proper ending.... While I'm happy that they're moving on and healing, I still feel incredibly terrible for both of them. Was not expecting to cry tonight.

That was a really good ending. Bittersweet and emotional, I'm happy with what happened to Chase, Kudzu, and Leo.

Fantastic ending overall, not a happy ending in the conventional sense but very well written and better then things could have gone considering. A few spoilers in the rest of this post so if you haven't played the update yet stop reading here. A bit of a shame that things didn't work out between Chase and Leo but given everything that happened between them up to that point, reconciliation was probably never an option. And truthfully their relationship was far from stable or healthy, and it is most likely best for both of them to move on and find someone better suited to them. A bit odd to me that Chase and Kudzu became so close after just a few days of knowing one another, but then again I suppose crisis situations do have a way of bringing people closer together. Both Carl and Leo's endings make me wonder what happens later though, both have had a fair amount of time pass at this point but the lingering echos of everything that happened still haunt them, and makes me wonder if there won't be a time down the line where the group goes back yet again to finally try and put the past behind them once and for all. This further reinforces my theory though that there are no truly happy endings to be found here. Simply ones that work out the best way possible despite everything that went wrong. I'm sure Tj, Flynn, and Jenna's routes will be just as enjoyable and finally answer the question about why they are all at the heart of this mess. The threads to link Echo 1915 to the present are starting to show more clearly now as well. Definitely looking forward to that once it begins, should help clear up a lot of the questions about the town and what is happening on this crazy night.

That was awesome. I was hoping things would go better for my favorite character, but that was an great ending.

The new ending is sad and beautiful. I just wanna say thanks for giving Kudzu a good ending. Love him.

i have to say, i'm not QUITE sure which was more devastating between A route and B route. but can i say that the handoff/setup for 1915 was super well done. I wish we could see more of what it looks like for Chase and his ghost to "heal" together, as it were

I don't know how to feel. I feel really sad now though. Everything was just... I feel bad for Leo he was left shattered and it took Chase 2 years to talk to leo after the whole things happened, that was the horrible part. I feel maybe Chase should have said something to Leo like "don't let what happened to us stop you from finding love again". Now i feel like everyone should be hating Chase. It was his fault after all for the way Leo turned out. And now they're no longer a "family". I still want to know about that damn voice.

A and B, neither ends happily but I do enjoy the route. It was the first one I played back when I decided to try out Echo. It definitely has a different feel to Carl's route, which is good writing. I assume the others will all be different from each other when they're done. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens on the other routes.

This was the end of an incredible ride. Couldn't be happier with the journey and the end! Leo is what got me into the game in the first place, and I can't wait to see all the rest and 1915!

This was a crazy and yes... amazing route. Just wonderful work. I love it.. sad somewhat but great closure! Can't wait for the next and 1915.

this is absolutely amazing, but for opposite reasons that made ending B amazing. i couldnt think of a better ending for this rollercoaster of a route. thank you.
