I wonder if the sister and the jackal are going to walk in on Amicus cuddled up to the MC next morning. I'm looking forward to the MC going out and exploring the city. I want to see how regular wolves work and live and how their society compares and contrasts to human society. Will we get to meet any of the children races currently enslaved by the wolf empire?

I would really like to see the MC being more proactive in advising Amicus seeing as the wolf can learn from him just like he can from Amicus. Maybe something to consider especially since the MC studies Roman history. But all in all I really love the storytelling and I will happily await the next update.

Were it me in this situation, I wouldn't have been able to stop "Anubis" from very slowly leaving my mouth. It kinda reinforces the failed uplift, but lets them know that we should be revisited, HOPEFULLY supporting Amicus' platform as Emperor.

Honestly loving this so far. At first I was slightly put off at how... slow to catch on you seem to be, and some of the choices you made on the shit were a bit drastic, but I can see how anybody would do the same in such a situation, given the lack of sleep and anesthetic to boot. All in all the plot was delivered pretty well I think, and I quickly got over the "Oh no I'd never do that :( ". (spoilers?) I particularly enjoy how upcoming plot points are being set up, It would seem Earth has somehow been uplifted by more than one Sibling, perhaps at different time periods... perhaps even all of them? And they all inevitably abandoned it, but not for the usual reasons, it would seem.

I noticed the main character was looking forward to trying certain foods in Italy that used tomatoes - but, tomatoes were brought over from South America. So the attempted uplift time period would not have known the glory of the tomato grown in the fertile volcanic soil. Just wanted to give kudos for such attention to detail.

Well, Amicus at least mentioned that one of the trials is "music and dance". So I'd assume Amicus will have to teach the MC to dance with him soon, whatever that involves.

I get the feeling that the protagonist is going to need to do a giant pile of work to get Amicus to be emperor. Mostly in the form of getting Amicus to be appealing as an emperor in the first place.

This public build brought me on as a patron. At first the lack of choice and narrative railroading was a bit...restrictive, but once we landed things got a LOT better. I'm very interested in seeing how this opens up!

I assume you'll be able to do so with him or Alex at some point. But this is still pretty much just the introduction to the game, we haven't reached branching points yet. I assume that's how Howly is setting it up, at least.

Now i'm trying to decipher that hieroglyphic. So, his species worked with humans, hence ancient Egypt. Meanwhile, the wolf species worked and served this other species. Is that erased part meant to be a depiction of the Parents? They look...dragon-ish, perhaps?
