As much as I'll miss the shag-carpet worth of hair he had on him, this iteration of him is more cohesive and fitting overall. He looks very... soft and rotund. His eyes are more captivating with the deeper shade of green, too, as well as the pastel brown he has now. Very well done. Although it wouldn't hurt to make him more shaggy, and his expression more... Distant? To imply he's the caprine stoner we love.

The way he's standing and his expression seems like there is something he wants to say but is reluctant to speak up, it's a good fit for his character. I think the new style looks good. I like the changes to his color scheme too, it suits him very well.

He's adorable despite the lacking goat eyes. Though oddly I have a hard time also imagining this is the same stoner goat. Oh well, I love the color change too.

I personally love the new coloring, although the thing that strikes me most is simply the nervous way he's playing with his hands. I think it's really fitting for his character and a great touch for this sprite.

It's incredible what a difference simply changing the color of his chest makes. The deeper green really makes his eyes stand out more too. The overall changes to his face and posture are a big plus. Excellent work!

Indeed, this version is far more appealing than the one before. Ultimately I'd still be in favor of the original sprites but alas......

New sprite, and new coloring, seem a lot better! The lighting and shading, as well as the color choice, really make him seem more... present, in a way. Definitely prefer this one.

I really love the shading and definition that Carl has and the warmer colors suit him rather nicely. His eyes turned out really well, too. I'm not well versed as an artist, but I hope that helps.

I really like it! Can't pinpoint why, but I think it feels more detailed and natural, the previous one was more smooth and slightly more toony maybe? Hard to say without clothes though, the blue hoodie has much of the smooth lighting, and I prefer this sharper lighting on the new.
