Yeah, it will cost me shit loads of money to keep rendering on expensive hours of a day. But what else I'm going to do with my free time? Keep company to my wife? Bah! (please don't hit me, my darling)
So, normal rendering speed and schedule has resumed after...one week?
Yeah, I can't help it. I just like playing with my toys too much.

Good idea. I have to investigate.
Would a render farm help the issue? I don't know what the rates are for your electricity and online subscription to a render farm but maybe that will help lessen the load?
