Okay I'm officially mad about that "reveal". Really liked this season overall, like you say the individual episodes were more consistently good even though it didn't (and couldn't) have the same effect as eps 1 & 7/8 last season. The finale was great. *Spoilers But seriously. The thing they were trying to do to with Kate and Immortal was great and all, but is basically ruined now. The whole thing up to this point had relied on everyone acting like it was *all* the Kates at the battle and never acknowledging the obvious "But why would it be?" question and hoping the audience went along with it. Which, fine. You want to have your dramatic arc and this was the only way to do it, okay. But to then pull "Ah ha! Turns out that wasn't all!" is really cheap. Now Immortal's not a man struggling with grief after losing a loved one, he's a man struggling with grief after forgetting literally the most basic reason-why-they're-together thing about his loved one. :/

fair enough. i just dont feel most of the stuff after the angstrom fight is good enough for a season finale episode. i love the season and the episode as whole even, but the fact there wasnt anything but talking the entire rest of the episode, was a bit of a letdown. i expect otherwise from this series.

Bro the scene where he breaks down and says "I thought you were stronger" really got to me. Mark is such a good character. Complex and tragic, I feel for him.

Mark needs to be better. He needs to be stronger....He needs to be INVINCIBLE.

the zombies were teased earlier in the season. also the guy who made this also made "The Walking Dead" tv series, so the zombie world is a reference to that.
Sapphire
Did you not gather that that guy at the start...was Legally Distinct Spider-Man? His villain was even called "Prof Ock" instead of "Doc Ock".

This episode starts off great but runs out of gas way too early. I really wished something exciting happened before the end of the episode. Not even a S3 teaser or anything.

there was some cool stuff but i liked season 1 a lot more than season 2, needed more omni-man
