Big Kdrama fan, I don't recognize any on this list but I'd recommend Moving if you want to see a fun superhero show. The Guest is a really good mystery/horror show. Also Mouse and Flower of Evil are really good Thrillers. Stranger and its second season are good crime shows. Doctor Prisoner too is pretty great. I have a lot of romcom suggestions too if that's your thing.

I actually don't have a problem with people liking Yu Yu Hakusho, regardless of it is nostalgia or any other reason. I just don't think it is the best choice for a reaction, at least generically. I see it is very popular among her patrons based on the numbers for he poll but I think the popularity for it in this group is more the exception than the rule.

I love Konosuba but Yu Yu Hakusho is one of the best anime ever. I might be speaking from nostalgia but it is no different to when people think Naruto is amzing... all nostalgia

It’s not ranked higher, though. On myanimelist, Konosuba is ranked #496, at 8.10 stars, with 1, 271, 792 users reviews. Yu Yu is ranked #149, at 8.46 stars, with only 330, 731 user reviews. Personally, I love Kenosuba, calling it “generic isekai” is like calling One Punch Man “generic shonen.” They’re parodies/satires of their respective genres that play on the troupes. That said, I still think Melon should watch Yu Yu this time around, hopefully Konosuba will come next

Yes but there are also adult jokes and the codes can be really hard for children. When I was young I never noticed the codes so that's more for the adults.

Okay okay "nobody" is hyperbole and yes someone will watch and enjoy it, but it won't be very popular, and definitely not one of the best animes of all time. Because look, it is out and it has the nostalgia factor, but I never hear anybody talking about it or referencing it like other classic animes, I never see people wearing the merch, it's rated 149 on myanimelist. It is a generic shounen with 90s animation. Honestly I'm surprised I stumbled into a space where there is this much support for it.

AOT Is a big commitment. But, it is super popular, and definitely a mainstream anime. So my vote goes AOT but I don't think any could go wrong and I haven't seen any on this list myself outside of AOT. Also hype for DB GT :)

I think it has to be Konosuba. And I say that even though I might very well like Black Lagoon better. Konosuba has broad appeal and 3 seasons, a movie, OVA, and a spin-off series...Everything else I think you would have to have a very specific taste to enjoy. I say that as a person who LOVES Black Lagoon. People who are voting for Yu Yu Hakisho, get off the drugs. That show is sooooo dated. I know she enjoys oldies like Dragonball but still. I don't think it holds up. I don't think it should be Gravity Falls either. Although I love GF and still think its good, it's a kids show. And not a kids show like AtLA where you can cry over it still but like actually for children.

Konosuba is great for a series, 2 seasons, a movie and season 3 is underway. (also 2 OVA's) Decently animated and pretty funny too.
