To be contrarian, I'd prefer colour. B&W provides story, certainly. But it does not as easily give character as colour does. A simple colour scheme for a character can provide as much personality as words can.

I think I'm in the same boat with everyone else. B&W is way more convenient and I don't think it takes away from the story or art but color is nice and better.

Prefer black and white since it's faster. But colors look cooler.

honestly it does not metter which, people DO however prefer color in most cases, becasue visuals are more important in most "comics" like in DC, but B&W works well in short stories, or perhaps extremely long ones to save time.

B&W works across the board, but colors done right has so much pop! Too bad it's so expensive to make and reproduce

That's a tough one I like the B&W because your mind has to fill in the colours But colour is great too
