The Rewrite poll and my thoughts on it all

The poll went pretty much half and half, with most people not really onboard for a rewrite.
I read every comment and tried to respond to most of them. What I've learned from this is that Serenity is a lot more special to a lot of people than I thought. And just the way it is now. That doesn't change the fact that I would still like to rewrite a different version - the version that I wrote originally. However, I read and heard from enough of you to know that the best path here is to continue on with Serenity Chapter 2 and not do any rewriting for now.
With that said, I'll continue on as before and we'll finish Chapter 2 and keep going with Last Human of course (the update I am working on currently). I'll post the next Last Human devlog this weekend (public).
As far as the rewrite goes... I still want to do it. But, perhaps my mood will change on that by the time I complete Chapter 2. By then, I may be ready to move on to something else (I have plenty of other stories and ideas that are ready to roll). We'll see where things are at the end of this year.

I second this - write the rewrite, that way, whether the patrons change our mind or you decide to put it in, the rewrite is complete and ready.

Serenity will end with chapter 2. As I said in my post, the decision has been made to continue on with the current version of the story.

Does Serenity end with the conclusion of ch2? If you feel strongly you'll want to redo it after ch2 anyway it may be better to bite the bullet and do it now, even though I like Serenity as it is with Karen and Camilla
