Last Human Ep4 (Devlog 12)
🕑 Added 2024-07-13 13:58:57 +0000 UTCHello and happy weekend all! It's been 2 weeks since my last devlog. A lot has been going on in that 2 weeks. Mom went into the hospital twice, but she's back home and doing better now. Then I had a pretty bad acid reflux experience in the middle of the night. I woke up and sucked some of that acid into my lungs. I've had heartburn issues for years, but that never happened before. VERY painful. It took about 5 days to get that shit completely out of my system. I take Nexium every day for the heartburn, but some nights I've had issues. Anyway, I did manage to get some work done on the update, just not as much as I would have liked. I think (for now) we're still on schedule for July 28th, a very tight schedule though. If I do happen to run further behind, I'm not planning to rush it to make that date. It would just be late, but complete and to my liking.
I'll keep this devlog short and sweet, and not keep you on this nice day. Thanks for following! Love you all, ...Fire

The update sounds good, but take care of your health first. I used to have frequent heartburn then I dropped soda and went to green tea with honey. I also dropped cereals and junk and feel better. Now I cook more but feel better.

I actually ordered a wedge pillow after that ordeal. The last few nights since that shit happened, I piled a few extra pillows up to get by until it got here. It arrived today.

No fun, brother. My wife has acid reflux problems, too. Do you sleep on a wedge pillow? A good quality wedge isn't exactly cheap (often $100-150), but keeping your upper body elevated during sleep can help quite a bit. The wife used one for years until we upgraded to an adjustable bed frame a couple of years ago. They're not exactly cheap but they've gotten a LOT more affordable than they used to be. I don't regret a cent of it, either. Good sleep is so, so, so important to quality of life.

no worries Fire just glad everyone is doing better you encluded and if you miss the date you miss the date its not like you have always been late with a release so like they say shit happens as long as you and your family is good thats all that matters
