Serenity C2 EP5 (Devlog 1) (I am alive)

I know I have been pretty quiet for a while. I have a few things to talk about so just stick with me here. The last few months have been pretty crappy. First with wife being let go from her job recently (putting a huge damper on our finances), then the car accident. I got really sick over the last couple of weeks (3 freaking times in a row). We lost internet for 4 days then a few days ago, the power company sent a contractor to replace the pole in my backyard. So we had no power all day long. Then when the idiots were pulling out at the end of the day, the fuckers knocked down the cable that feeds internet to my house. It has been a maddening, annoying and frustrating month. Yesterday, I waited for a tech to come out and put a new line up. With all that has been going on, I took a lot longer break than I wanted to. Regardless, I still managed to start some coding for the next episode a couple of weeks ago while laid up in bed using my laptop. I've been randomly active on Discord, but just hadn't been posting or really working on anything. Now that things are seemingly back to normal, let's cover a few quick topics.
AI MUSIC - I've decided to use it, but very sparingly. Only when I need a piece of music and can't find one I like from my current resources. It is possible that in future updates, if I've used a piece of AI music, I could find a better track and replace it.
I have received a lot of messages asking about the Camilla game. It is going to happen and I have already written an outline for that project. However, I will not work on it heavily until the end of Serenity. So, it is still a little ways off. Camilla will be a short AVN, probably released in 4 large updates (episodes). I am projecting about 2000 images per episode, plus animations. It will have plenty of content, but just shorter than my main projects. It will use a lot of the same music from Serenity so it will have a very similar vibe, but it will definitely be a lot more focused on character development. I think that covers most of the questions I've been asked about it.
As for where I am on the Serenity update, my best guess is about 40% coding is completed right now. It shouldn't take me long to finish that and get started on rendering graphicis and animations. Thankfully, this one won't have a ton of animations - but I do want to throw a few in there like I have been doing with Last Human (not just for sex scenes).
Last month I passed 300 patrons, which was the first time I broke 300 I think. It's back down now but that's to be expected. I remember when I first broke 100 patrons LOL. You guys are the best, keep spreading the word. At the end of all this, we'll hopefully have a nice group of VN's that are slightly connected, creating our own "multiverse" of lives. The "God of wishes and dreams" will inevitably be mentioned in my future stories where characters make wishes and we might see Serenity characters make small appearances. This was a question I also got asked a few times.

It's fascinating to me. The art style is not my favorite, and I'm not into the cat thing at all. But damn, I love these two stories and the universe you've created, and I can't wait for the next releases.

I remembered a power think that went on here awhile back. A transformer on a pole blew. Then they blew the inline fuse then another transformer. This went on all day, By the end they went through three new transformers and fuses before they figured it out. Take time and get well, thing hopefully will start turning around.
