Last Human: Episode 6 (Devlog 1)

Still, right now in my normal schedule, I'd technically be on devlog 6 or 8 because I am basically halfway through coding and deciding on certain animation prompts. I'll give you some more about what's going on with me personally down below if interested. For now...
Episode 6 is our first real adventure away from Pantheria, moving further out in that system. At the limit of the habitable zone lies the planet Aclades, home of the Acladeans. It's a small, red planet... rough terrain; the kind of place only the Acladeans could thrive in. We'll be meeting with Ambassador Vlanna. The visit will be short though as she needs our help. So we set off again, moving further out into the far reaches of the system, beyond the habitable zone. The Aurora will be put through her paces, and we'll get to see the DART perform one of its coolest tricks. We'll meet another race, possibly two. You'll understand that once you read it.
I've been asked if the Captain will be able to sleep with this girl or that girl. For what its worth, he'll have a chance with every girl you've met so far outside of his pets. There may be some situations where you'll have to choose between a couple. But you'll be able to back up and see both events of course. Hell, I may even add an option at the end of a choice event where you can choose to go back and choose the other girl (just for those completionists out there who want to see every scene).
I am still 'blocked' on my Serenity writing, but to be fair I've kept myself busy with Last Human since changing my focus to that. But sometimes I see something in a show or a game that gives me ideas. I'll be noting down anything that comes to mind meanwhile. With any luck, when I release episode 6 of LH and get back to Serenity, I'll have a few things in mind and be in a better place to complete that one.
Now, if you don't want to hear me talk about my drama, thank you and love you all! I respect that people may not want to read about such things and that's fine. I'll try to actually post another devlog next weekend.
As for me... as you know my wife has been out of work. She's been working her ass off trying to find another job. Lots of interviews but no one biting. This has taken a very heavy toll on us. We are starting to fall behind on our mortgage. And I didn't have the money to pay taxes for last year on my Patreon income because what I had saved up for that, we ended up having to use to supplement MY income. So now the letters have started coming. I don't know where this will all lead in the long run. I can only hope that one of these damn places finally hires my wife and we can try to get back on track. It will take us a long time to get ourselves back into a good position again once she does get hired somewhere. I may be able to save us from losing our house by dipping into my 401k. But damn this is so stressful. I want to make more money doing this but between the stress of what is going on and working my own full time job, I can't tell you how hard this is guys. I am hitting my limits on stress levels. These guys that make 60k a month making AVN's... I know I can't do that without more releases and more activity. I'm trying guys, I really am. So please bare with me. I still have no intention of stopping; I enjoy it. So don't worry about that. Anyway, long story short... I guess I'm getting tired and maybe that is part of the reason for my writer's block with Serenity. Too much pushing against me on all sides. I'll end here, but thank you guys for your patience and the kind words people send me on occasion. I appreciate you all. ...Fire

Your wife will find job! Hang in there Fire, this situation is not permanent. We love what you do, and we know life isn't always easy. I was unemployed for 3 months now, but got hired a week ago. It's a huge thing that you even make time for us in these troubled times. Don't let stress get the best of you!

Hey fire if life is against you always remember you aren't alone, so don't be afraid to ask us for help, if it is possible we wiil step through fire to help you out. So long as you remember that and don't go and het yourself in trouble with loan sharks we will be there, to be the rock you need to lean on and the roof to shield you from the bad.

Sending you guys much love in these trying times, and I wish your wife good luck on finding a good employer! Hopefully on the other side of this hill you are now battling there will be better times ahead. Keep your head up, take breaks from daily life and do small and free stuff to de-stress. I really hope things turn out good in the end for you. Looking forward to the next update of LH!

You do what you have to and take of yourself and your wife first. I agree I see devs making lots and some barely put out updates or even post reports. But they say if life was fair pig would fly. Take care do what you can, when you can and make sure to sit back, breath and try to relax with the wife sometimes.
