Follow-Up (Yup it's the 'Rona)
🕑 Added 2022-01-18 18:33:29 +0000 UTCMy hubby's second at-home test came back positive for covid, and though mine still says negative, I have all of his symptoms but slightly worse. And I'm 100% sure that since I sleep next to him and we swap fluids, I have covid too, although I find it interesting that my test still says negative. (Yes I am aware that many of the at-home tests are far from perfect) Regardless, I may be out of commission for a little while, I will update you when I'm feeling better. Historically, over the last few years when I was sick I still got work done anyway but this one is different. My head is just too achy and my body is beyond tired feeling. Add to that the wet cough that makes my chest hurt and I, unfortunately, have to make the decision to just not work until this passes. All of my symptoms, from what I've heard from other people are Omicron to a 'T'. For those wondering, I am vaccinated with a booster shot in my system, wear my mask in public and still got a breakthrough case. It brings me some solace to think how much worse this could be if I hadn't taken precautions. Anyway, I hope that you all can understand my decision to take the necessary time off work to heal and get better. Stay safe out there, folks. I hope to bring you more artwork soon.
