It wasn't always going to be Dobie necessarily, but the idea of a nice-lookin' older chap who's fallen asleep in his chair, or on the couch with no pants and a wide man-spread! I dunno, something about a guy who just passes out after a long day in his favorite seat is so fucking cute to me! Also, Of my three Animal Crossing husbands, Dobie is the only one who hadn't gotten his own solo piece, so he ended up being the perfect candidate.
