🕑 Added 2023-04-12 19:16:09 +0000 UTCIn regards to the Mario movie that recently came out, I know the internet is going crazy over Bowser (what else is new?), but I was most excited about Foreman Spike here! I really didn't know too much about him, had to look him up in fact to find out he was a rival of Mario's, and his boss, in the '85 NES game 'Wrecking Crew.' I think it's super cool that they dusted him off, gave him a redesign and made him an actual character for the film! Makes me wonder if we're going to see him in some Mario titles going forward? Anyway, a *new bearded hunk in one of my all-time favorite franchises? Yeah, I'm pretty stoked about it! I didn't want to work on anything else until I got him drawn up! OH, and about the movie itself: It's a really, really fun watch and I highly recommend checking it out!
