Gay Gangsters of Gotham: Batman (Thomas Wayne)

He rifles through his victim's pockets for their wallet, pulls out the twenty-two dollars it contains and then tosses it aside. He runs off into the night, long before the sound of sirens will be heard. He smiles wryly to himself, thinking he's safe from detection until he hears a strange whooshing sound overhead. He whirls his head around, his mouth open with fear as a large creature with crimson eyes and wings (or is it a cape?) lands heavily on his back pressing him forcefully to the pavement. The man, though not particularly religious, whispers a prayer as he realizes the Bat of Gotham has caught himself new prey.
The stories are common enough. and certainly popular among news outlets. There are some who say he's a hero, and others claim anti-hero. Still more will tell you all of the reasons that the Batman is a villain. Whatever the people of Gotham say about the man, it cannot be understated that he is dangerous at the very least. Rumors about masked vigilantes are rampant but one of the more noteworthy is that this is a man in anguish over the brutal loss of his son and eventual loss of his partner. They say he turned his grief into the mask he wears and stalks the wicked through the darkened streets of Gotham: His justice is swift and final. Of course these are just stories of the Batman passed around to any listening ear of the city's substantial criminal underbelly. But many stories in Gotham have at least a kernel of truth to them. Perhaps the Batman, because of his aggressive methods, though controversial, are just what this corrupt city needs to restore balance?
