My high school had an extremely fat janitor whom the kids called Captain Carl. Rumor was that he was 700 pounds, and he was even wider than the guy in the third frame of this. He ended up being let go, supposedly because he couldn't get to the places he was needed fast enough. So they replaced him with another fat janitor, who looked about 400 pounds, yet somehow didn't move any faster than Captain Carl. Also, the gym teacher always insisted that once Captain Carl got moving, he could run really fast. Anyway, I really like this piece, and I just wanted to share that memory it unearthed.
