I do love the 'victim/observer' paradigm for these! Its quite hard to give it much narrative without at least one observer. Otherwise the dialogue becomes limited to 'oooh... ah... wtf' or weirdly expositional dialogue like 'oh my god my ass is getting so big!' that I for one would not be saying if I TFd lol. This is cool :)

Victim: "About time this company got some young blood! There are going to be some big changes around here!" Observer: "You got that right." Victim: "Hey... Is it just me or does something feel a little off..." Observer: "one too many doughnuts from the breakroom, perhaps?" Victim: "I don't think I..." Observer: "Maybe not enough sleep. At your age you need your rest." Victim: "What? But... What were we talking about?" Observer: "I hope you've got enough saved up for retirement, old timer."

Sean was pretty confident that he had found another struggling business that he could use to grow his own fortune. His nickname around the investment firm was "squeeze" because he could draw blood from a rock. Located on the 3rd floor of a slowly crumbling office building next to a strip mall, Boomer Importers dealt in fireworks. Not large scale ones, but the kind that you get at a small roadside shack. Bob, the manager welcomed Sean in. "I'm so glad to see you. It's about time I retire, and I need to make sure the company is in good hands." Sean got as close as he ever did to really smiling, a sneer crossing his thin lips. His hands were very good at assuring he made a profit when the business folded. "We have a particular office culture we need to keep up, can I take you on a tour?' Sean followed, knowing that this doddering old fool wouldn't be able to refuse his offer. As he passed by the cubicles, all the older men introduced themselves. Sean began to feel a little strange, almost like he had just eaten a very full meal. He found Bob's pace to be getting quicker, or was he just getting slower. His head felt full of cotton as they rounded the corner to an empty cubicle. "Here's where you'll be working, Steve has been promoted to manager, so we need someone to take over his accounts. You're going to be the perfect fit Sean". Sean was confused, but as he settled down, the chair seemed to be ready for him. "So glad you're part of the team. Just give us a shout if you need any help with our inventory system" Sean looked at his reflection in the monitor of the computer at the desk. Something strange about his reflection bothered him, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He was glad he had landed this job, it was hard for a boomer like him to find something after his previous company had folded under one of those vulture capitalists.
