Jimi is an old pal of mine from New Orleans who has become an omnipresent voice in the American Roots music scene. He hosts a ton of radio shows and Roots/Country/Folk music nights at venues in New Orleans. He’s a great dude.
Anyway, here’s the link, the interview part starts at about 2:13 (a quarter of the way through the episode), but he plays the songs from Circle Breaker prior to that, plus some other adjacent contemporary tunes:

Great background info on ‘At War….’ So psyched to hear that The Taxpayers aren’t finished— I thought Big Delusion Factory was going to be the last record, then I thought Circle Breaker’s a last hurrah; now I find out there’s more to come?! I sincerely now see The Taxpayers are becoming transgenerational like the Mountain Goats or They Might Be Giants. When I found music by The Taxpayers in 2015 they had ~50K monthly Spotify listeners, and as of June 2025 it has broken 1,000,000 monthly listeners. Congratulations, and long live The Taxpayers🎻
