Sorry to be asking such a dumb question, but I don't live in America. I thought the ACA forced insurance to pay out for pre-existing conditions, just like they can't charge more in premiums for having a pre-existing condition? Do you have bad insurance even after paying 300 a month or is there some kind of waiting period? The whole insurance game mystifies me, I can't get my head around it in Australia and I certainly can't get my head around it in America.
