This is beautiful. The way you treat his trauma is so lovely and appreciated. My friend was into the game, so I got somewhat into it a while ago, but then you posted the compilation, and I got sucked back into it and discovered how lovely Astarion is (through lots and lots of youtube videos lmao). For most of the audio I kinda just stared up at the ceiling and listened in surprise because of how much I related. I really don't know what else to say other that this is really, really beautiful, and so well made and crafted and wow wow. A lot of people take characters and use their hurt as something to sexualize, which hurts even more with characters that have gone through SA. Hearing him talk about his struggles and all the nuances with trauma (knowing Cazador is dead but still not processing his emotions about everything) was lovely to hear. I hope this comment doesn't turn into an essay but, some lines I especially like are "I wasn't sure which parts of me were real, and which parts of me just acting, but when I'm with you, it doesn't feel like I'm playing pretend anymore" That's art. What!!!!! I'll cry. "The power seemed safe" "I got to go outside" the way he said that aaa "I would've handed you over all the same" "Sorry if that was a downer" Astarion love of my life. Head in hands. Love of my life. Many people don't understand the nuance and greyness of the seemingly black and white of trauma but everything is so perfectly laid out here with Astarion processing his nightmare/ his trauma. Again, lovely audio. Astarion...I may have to hyperfixate on you if I'm not already
