OC - Love Bites Series - Hunter Tracks Down His Vampire Target

Well this is the audio I've been the most nervous to record (so far). A lot of work went into this, the build up, and what is to come after. I had said elsewhere I had plans for this years audios, including some that wouldn't include a listener character. Hopefully the 'no listener' isn't upsetting. I'm going to use the 'ASMR Story' tag in the title/description of audios that have no listener character. All the rest of my audios will still have a listener as usual, but for this story there wasn't a way to shoehorn a listener into the story and I really wanted to tell the story properly. Never thought I'd be making full on audio dramas with multiple characters being voiced but here we are. I've been saying one day I'll share more about my OCs, I hope this was worth the wait.
Ambrose at the beginning is reading 'The Castle of Otranto' by Horace Walpole, published in 1764 and often regarded as the first gothic novel. I was already familiar with the book and was pleased when I searched for books published in the 1700s and this one popped up.

I want to applaud the only creator that can use a german accent and still make me want to listen. Most people really embellish the german and it's mostly annoying since it's not the words a german speaking English would translate or accentuate. But prince is doing a really good job, my german accent feels called out. Anyways I love these audios.

This was so wonderful!! Everything about this audio had me at the edge of my seat and I loved being able to piece together who was who. Ambrose wanting to meet Arden again because this was the first time he's met (and connected) with someone like him was so touching and Arden being flustered at the end of their meeting was just lovely.

This was so good! I didn't realize at first that the hunter was arten and I legitimately gasped when I heard him speak. I think it was good that this didn't have a listener character it let us see just how the characters interacted on their own. I hope we get to see more of this era of arten and Ambrose 💜

Not the important part at all and I know Ambrose is practicing reading specifically in the audio, but fun fact: Reading books in the desired foreign language aloud was considered the best way of learning a new language at the time this audio is supposed to take place (it was for a pretty long time. If anyone has read Jane Eyre St. John Rivers’ sisters are learning French this way!) /info As a history nerd it is just a really cool detail! /pos

I can’t even form my words, I’m so giggly and emotional!! “We are Phoenixes, self made men” made me tear up and then both saying each other’s names for the first time, ugh! 😭 I guess I always thought that back when Arden spoke (I think in the sleepover video with them both) that Ambrose came from “Nobel blood” that Ambrose came from money. But maybe he was actually referring to Johann? Also, like the way Ambrose jumped at being able to see Arden again once he found belonging with another for the first time. 😭😭 Meeting another queer person for the first time, especially with the time frame they are in, I’m sure was even more impactful than now. Damn, I’m so invested in them and am very happy to not have a listener involved to enjoy! You’ve done amazingly, Prince! 👑 Oh and also, what did Ambrose say to Johann at the beginning in German? I’d translate it but I’m not sure how to spell it.
