When I have multiple versions of the same audio it's for ones that have background sounds (eg ocean waves, campfires, rain) for people who don't want the background sounds or find it harder to understand the dialogue with the background sounds there. I don't offer versions of robot characters without the vocal effects as... well then it just wouldn't sound like the character. If I took the vocal effects out of this you wouldn't be able to tell when Viktor transformers into the Machine Herald. I don't really understand the appeal of removing the effects that make them sound like the character.
