Regarding the whole “21 out of 42” thing…At the time this movie was made Bill Clinton was president, the 42nd. John yelled at a woman in traffic something like, “who do you think you are, Hillary Clinton or something?!”. That’s when he figured out that Simon was talking about presidents. 21 out of 42…who was the 21st president? Chester A. Arthur. The school where the supposed bomb was at was Chester A. Arthur Elementary School.

This one actually has a lot of affection--the consensus is really that the drop-off comes after this one. Though honestly I dunno that two and four are all thaaat far apart (for me that's more an indictment of 2 than a love of 4). But the wheels for sure come off after 4....

You guys joked about this in the intro but… While Die Hard is a classic and an all around tighter film… This is absolutely my favorite entry in the franchise. Cheers!
