I somehow missed this one in my Disney childhood, which is weird, but I did watch it for the first time this year with my 8 year old and we LOVED it. Kronk is a total crap up. So please you guys enjoyed it too. 💜💜

Great film! Wondering for a change of pace if you guys would ever consider a "Hollywood Classics" type of poll? So films from like the 1930s, 40s, 50s etc. There are still some great ones in there that most people just would never consider watching.

As a certified Disney baby this movie makes me so happy. It was a sleeper hit. Didn't do so well when it came out in theaters in 2000 but has since blown up and become very popular. Yzma is voiced by Eartha Kit who was the first black woman to play Catwoman. She appeared in the old Batman series with Adam West. My mother made SURE I aware of that factoid lol.

Just FYI... Common Sense Media is a rating system for how family-friendly a movie is. So, movies with a lot of violence or nudity, etc., would be rated very low, and movies that are more wholesome would be rated higher. A useful tool for parents, but maybe not one that works for all of your reactions. 😀
