Eh, I care. No amount of good writing can justify making 80% of your female leads into lesbians just so you can fill an absurd quota for the Twitter nut jobs lol. You just can’t make it work because it’s a false reality that feels unreal and forced. Most women are straight, by far. Even a fictional world can reflect that, unless there is some cosmic reason for it, which of course there isn’t. And sure you have plenty of queer OCs, but that has little to do with what DC is doing with their non-hentai stories. At the end of the day, when do we start talking about hetero female representation comics, and when does it officially become creepy that there is an implicit idea that every woman is secretly a lesbian waiting to be unleashed? Cause that’s the kind of commodification and ownership that straight men get accused of (rightfully so, often), and now I’m seeing it reflected really strongly by the supposed Queer culture in comics.

I don't care what their deal is, long as they're just written good and don't have shitty writing involved. Hell, i'm guilty for having a bunch of OC's I created being gay, bisexual, etc. But only cause that's how I see 'em.

Oh my god, you should totally involve Batgirl and Supergirl together. In the DCAU, I remember there were a couple jokes in there about rumors of the two of them together. :p Sexual tension to be exploited by our villainous vixens. Ivy could mind-whammy them and turn them on poor Kim. Imagine the Sirens just tagging out and watching with glee as the heroines fall to the dark side and completely destroy Kim's remaining hope and faith in humanity. Lol
