Idk if it’s just me but this song was underwhelming. I was expecting a 6am in Compton type song when Drake be talking dat talk like Tory does in some tracks, addressing how the whole industry turned against him or sum of that nature. Moreover if only yall were knowledgeable enough to remember Cole saying he wanna be at peace with both Drake and Kendrick when it’s all said and done in an interview with Kevin Durant. So his so called apology was him basically declaring he’s not picking a side and would rather stand on his own which is why he told Kendrick to take a shot at him with him having his chin out and then clearing the song ft future on Metro’s album as if to stand on a neutral ground cuz mfs was painting it as if he was siding with Drake when he’s whole thing was about them being the Big 3 but if it was to get to its he would stand his ground. Yall go back and listen to first person shooter and peep how he was lowkey down playing Drake while being on the same song saying shit like rhyming with him is mistake so Jcole ain’t scary or cowardly. I thought this was clever and there were some hard bars (loved the whoo kid intro), but does the stuff about Kendrick getting extorted really hit? Drake was definitely in a nuts contract at one point with birdman, and I doubt j prince supports drake just off the strength. Also, the stuff about tricking on dudes, didn't drake literally buy cars and shit for 21 savage? Also, sza, travis scott, and 21 savage have absolutely nothing to do with whether or not kendrick is big 3 lol. I feel like Drake needs to chill on the naming wives and women thing, I personally find it corny unless he comes up with a more clever diss with it. This or the virginia williams thing, neither were great to me as disses (all though this bar was a little better)
